From star-studded collaborations to brand-new mechanics, Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 1 is going to have it all. That said, here's some of the major content that will be present in-game once the downtime ends.

One of the highlights of the Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 1 Early Patch notes is the Mr. Beast skin. Jimmy Donaldson is a trailblazer in the content creation industry. After a collaboration with MrBeast Burger was spotted at the FNCS, an in-game crossover was inevitable. However, he's not the only show-stopper that's being added in.

The Hulk, Doom Slayer, and Geralt of Rivia will also be present in Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 1 as well. According to leakers, Mr. Beast and The Hulk will not likely appear as Battle Pass exclusives. They'll be up for grabs in the item shop once the downtime ends.

2) Final Fantasy and My Hero Academia collaborations

Another major highlight of the Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 1 early patch notes is the upcoming collaboration with My Hero Academia. Following the success of collaborations with Naruto and Dragon Ball, having another anime in the game is a no-brainer.

According to the leakers, there's a possibility that a Final Fantasy collaboration will occur as well. However, this is more of a speculation rather than a confirmation. With no concrete evidence to go on at the moment, players shouldn't jump to conclusions just yet.

3) Perk System

Based on the Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 1 early patch notes, a brand new Perk System will be added to Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 1. Akin to how perks work in the Save The World mode, this might be something very similar. However, for the time being, there have been no detailed leaks explaining how the system will function.

It will likely be revealed in the official trailer alongside other nitty gritties that will be featured in this new phase of the storyline. That said, this mechanic will surely add more dynamics to combat and gameplay in general.

4) Chapter 4 Season 1 weapons and pickaxes/harvesting tools

According to leakers, as of now, four new weapons and harvesting tools/pickaxes can be confirmed via Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 1 early patch notes. They are:

  • Sword Pistol
  • Geralt's Sword
  • Muster Pump Shotgun
  • Shock Hammer

In all probability, the Sword Pistol and Muster Pump Shotgun will be weapons, while Geralt's Sword and Shock Hammer will be harvesting tools. That said, while the weapons will be added to the loot pool, the harvesting tool will likely be exclusive to the Battle Pass.

5) Motorcycles and Weapon Drones

Based on the Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 1 early patch notes, Motorcycles have finally been confirmed to be added to the game. This new vehicle type was first leaked by HYPEX nearly half a year ago. As mentioned earlier, two players will be able to use the vehicle as a mobility device.

In addition to the new vehicle, Weapon Drones are making a comeback. Players will be able to shoot them down to acquire high-tier weapons in-game. This will make combat much more interesting and allow players to obtain good loot from more sources.

6) New POIs

With a brand new island being forged, it's no surprise that there will be many new POIs to discover. On that note, a few already stand out from the rest. However, the most unique POI seen thus far is a castle, and with Geralt of Rivia being added in as a skin, it may just be Kaer Morhen.

In addition to this inaccessible mountain stronghold, Frosty Flights, Steamy Stacks, and quite possibly Pleasant park will also be making a comeback. If the biomes showcased during the live event survive Zero Fusion, there will be an alien biome as well as a mushroom biome from Chapter 3 present on the island.

7) Double Jump and Skating mechanics

Keeping the best part of the Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 1 early patch notes for last, Skating and Double Jump mechanics are confirmed to be coming to the game. Although the former has no timeline in place, there is an icon in the files which suggests that it will be added sooner or later.

As for Skating, this new mechanic should be present in-game as soon as the downtime ends in a few hours. It'll be interesting to see how this mechanic functions in-game and whether or not it'll play a role in combat and mobility.
