Where to find Deku's Smash Mythic weapon in Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 1

The My Hero Academia collaboration has gone live in Fortnite and will continue until December 29, 2022. With the Item Shop being reset earlier for this occasion, a total of 16 new cosmetics have been added in. Furthermore, there are new challenges that have gone live as well and completing them will reward players with experience points and free cosmetics.

In addition to cosmetic items, All Might Supply Drops and Vending Machines tailor-made for the My Hero Academia collaboration have also been added to the game. Players can search through them in-game to obtain a brand new powerful weapon called Deku's Smash (Mythic). With that said, here's where to find it in Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 1.

Super-Functioning Vending Machine locations in Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 1

According to leakers and early gameplay footage, there are two ways to obtain Deku's Smash Mythic in-game. Players can either find it in All Might Supply Drops or purchase it from the Super-Functioning Vending Machines.

On that note, while both methods are viable, the latter will be rather difficult as these Vending Machines are located in hot-drop POIs (Frenzy Fields, Warden's Watch, and Beep 'n Bounce). Nevertheless, players who want to try this method are free to do so as long as they have 250 gold bars to buy Deku's Smash Mythic.

Spotting All Might Supply Drops falling from the sky is much easier. Since the Supply Drop is shaped like All Might, it should be easy to spot this oddly shaped balloon in the sky. Players can either wait for it to land on its own or shoot it down to speed up the process.

Once the All Might Supply Drop hits the ground, players can 'search them' to find Deku's Smash Mythic. However, since all items in-game have a certain spawn chance, every All Might Supply Drop may not contain this weapon. Nevertheless, since it has been newly added to the game, finding it during a match will not be impossible.

How to use Deku's Smash Mythic in Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 1?

Similar to the Dragon Ball Kamehameha Mythic, players will have to wait for Deku's Smash Mythic to power up before unleashing a devastating blast of energy. Once the attack is initiated, players will float mid-air until the attack has been charged up and unleashed.

As seen from early gameplay, it absolutely annihilates anything that’s in front of it. With power, comes great responsibility and cooldowns. Once the weapon is charged and fired, it requires 15 seconds to cool down. Players will not be able to use it during this period.

Furthermore, the weapon can only be used thrice before it runs out of power. After using it for the third time, it will disappear from the player's inventory. Nevertheless, given that it inflicts 100 to 150 body-damage on opponents, three charges is quite a lot for a skilled player.

On that note, players using Deku's Smash Mythic in Fortnite will have to be careful while using the weapon in combat. During the power-up stage, they'll be vulnerable and open to enemy fire. That said, it's best to use the weapon only if the enemy is hiding or on the run. If they counter-attack, players are unlikely to survive.
