Where to hunt Zombies & Zombie Chickens in Fortnite

Loopers are in for amazing free rewards as Fortnitemares 2022 brings back one of the most-loved events in the Battle Royale game. As the horror fest returns to the game in light of Halloween, Epic Games is offering free cosmetics as a prize for completing special challenges.

During the event, players can earn the Everything's End Glider by completing five quests, Chrome Cage Back bling for completing 13 quests, and the Unmaker Pickaxe for completing 25 quests. They only have until November 1 to complete the challenges and earn free rewards.

The latest challenge is to hunt five Zombies and Zombie Chickens in Fortnite. In order to complete the challenge, players will have to kill a total of five Zombies or Zombie Chickens that can be found all across the map.

Step-by-step guide to killing 5 Zombies & Zombie Chickens in Fortnite

1) Head to a spooky location

The first step to completing the latest Halloween challenge is to find Zombies or Zombie Chickens on the map. Players can find them at any Halloween-themed location on the map. However, many have confirmed that a ton can be found at the Grim Gables POI.

One can choose to drop directly at the POI from the Battle Bus. Given the fact that many players are trying to complete the challenge, they might end up taking out all the Zombies or Zombie Chickens in the location. It is also possible that Grim Gables remains out of the storm circle late in the game.

2) Look for Zombies and Zombie Chickens

Zombie Chickens are rather easier to find. Similar to normal ones, they will be strutting around the POI, and players can hunt them down to count towards the challenge progress.

Finding Zombies in Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 4 is harder. They are hidden inside objects and only come out when one is close enough. Therefore, once players drop at the Grim Gables POI, they should walk around and go close to every object, such as barrels and cardboard boxes for the Zombies to come out.

3) Eliminate five Zombies or Zombie Chickens in Fortnite

Players are supposed to eliminate a total of five Zombies or Zombie Chickens. The former does not have any weapons and can be easily killed from far away. Neither of them has high HP, which means players don't need to have a lot of loot to complete the challenge.

There are no immediate rewards for completing the challenge. However, players can start earning them once they reach the challenge milestones. Each has a free cosmetic reward for completing five, thirteen, and twenty-five challenges.

Besides these, players can also get the free Chrome Punk skin for free by leveling up 50 times before the Fortnitemares 2022 event ends on November 1. The Halloween event comes with a lot of surprises, and many more might follow in the coming few days.
