What's the story?
Brazilian sensation Douglas Costa is currently on a loan spell at Juventus from Bayern Munich. He made 50 appearances in two seasons for Bayern before moving to Juve last summer. He had made 14 appearances for Juve and has scored once.
Following his amazing goal in Juventus' 2-0 win against Torino FC in Coppa Italia on January 3, Costa was quick to post a picture of himself on Instagram, tagging the official EA Sports account. Costa personally feels that his rating on FIFA 18 is low and vouched for a potential upgrade.
Heart of the matter
The two time Bundesliga winner is rated 82 in FIFA 18. His card isn't the best either, apart from 92 in the pace department not a single attribute on Costa's card is rated above 85. His next best attribute is dribbling (84). With 5 star skills and 3 star weak foot it is clear why Costa is desperate for an upgrade on EA Sports.
Douglas Costa's lowly rated present card is very high value for money, it is available for a mere 2000 coins. In case EA Sports actually consider giving Costa an upgrade, his card's price is bound to go up.
Before the winter upgrades are announced by EA, Fifa Ultimate Team (FUT) players will be looking to buy Costa at a cheaper price and sell it when the value of the card goes up.

It remains to be seen if Costa will end up getting on the upgrades list. The winter upgrades for FUT are announced by EA every year after the transfer window ends.

Costa is an excellent player with loads of talent. A successful spell at Juventus will prepare him to become one of the best players for Bayern in the future. An 82 rated card doesn't justify a player of Costa's talent and he is bound to receive an upgrade in the near future.
