The 2025 US Open's final round concluded on Sunday, June 15, and LIV Golf star Jon Rahm finished in seventh place. Despite his spectacular performance in the competition, golf insider Ben Boskovich criticized Rahm’s outfit choice for the tournament, calling it a disappointment.
In 2021, Rahm won his first major championship title at the US Open, and in 2023, he won the Masters Tournament. Notably, he has teed off in the first three major championships of the 2025 season and has made the cut in all. He competed at the Masters Tournament at Augusta National and finished at T14. He also teed off at he PGA Championship and tied for eighth position.
During an episode of Dan on Golf, golf insiders Dan Rapaport and Ben Boskovich discussed the best and worst-dressed players at the 2025 US Open. When it came to 11-time PGA Tour winner Jon Rahm, they showed a picture of him dressed in a colorful blue patterned shirt during the tournament's third round. Boskovich said:
“Alright, we can move quickly now through the people who did not do it right. Jon Rahm just, every week, just disappoints me with what he’s wearing. I don’t think it’s Greyson’s fault; they make really nice clothing. He’s just choosing the wrong ones.” [37:57]
Boskovich also mentioned that he isn’t trying to pick on LIV Golf players, but if he’s being honest, they “tend to be the worst dressed week to week.” He also stated that the players on the Saudi-backed league were probably dressed so poorly because they were forced to “uniform it up.” He believes that as a result of that, they often can’t express their personal style through their outfits.
Before discussing the worst-dressed players of the week, Rapaport and Boskovich spotlighted the best-dressed. Some players who made it to the list include Jason Day, Sungjae Im, and Adam Scott.
