Sardar Singh is one of the most experienced players in the Indian squad and has been representing India in the senior team since 2006. Nooijer made his debut for HC Bloemendaal at the age of 17 in the year 1993. The star Dutch attacker provided his relentless services to the club for a long span of 20 years. The International Hockey Federation awarded him with the title World Hockey Player of the Year in the year 2003, 2005 and 2006. Apart from being a wonderful hockey player, his fans recognise him as a gentleman on and off the field.
