Good evening everyone..

Welcome to the LIVE coverage of first of tonight’s double header between the hosts Dabang Delhi and Bengal Warriors at the Thyagaraj Sports Complex, Delhi in the ongoing Star Sports Pro Kabaddi League season 4.

The Eagles currently sit in the last place in the standings but having played the least number of matches of all the teams, mathematically, they still have a chance to qualify for the semi-finals, given the other results go their way as well. So far, the Eagles have just managed to win 3 of their 10 matches this season and would be hoping for a change in fortune in their home leg in order end at a more respectable position in the final standings. They went on to win against all odds against Patna Pirates, thrashing them 33-15 at their home turf before hammering the Bulls 40-20 too at their home turf.

On the other hand, Bengal Warriors will be playing their last league match of season 4 against the Eagles today and with the semi-final hopes all ended, they would hope to end their season 4 campaign with a win against the hosts tonight. They have managed to win just 3 of their 13 matches played this season, losing 8 while drawing the other 2 matches. Their Star raider Jang Kun Lee has been the lone spark for them and continued his fine form to gather a total of 56 raid points. The Korean import has to be at his best against the hosts to help the Warriors end their campaign with a win.

The two sides have met each other on 7 occasions with the Warriors having the upper hand on most of the occasions, winning 5 of those encounters against to Delhi’s 2 in the PKL history.

Players to watch out for:

Dabang Delhi – Sachin Shingade, Meraj Sheykh

Bengal Warriors – Jang Kun Lee, Vishal Mane

Head to Head

Played – 7, Dabang Delhi – 2, Bengal Warriors – 5, Draw – 0

Last Match

Dabang Delhi – Lost 24-22 against Jaipur Pink Panthers, Match 44

Bengal Warriors – Won 31-27 against U Mumba, Match 47

Game Plan

Dabang Delhi –  Delhi's ace raider, Kashiling Adake hasn't had the best of seasons so far. They have 3 right raiders in Kashi, Meraj and Selvamanni, all three will face the deadly duo Girish Ernak and Vishal Mane.

Bengal Warriors – Left raiders, Jang Kun Lee and Nitin Madane will be up against Delhi's powerhouse, Sachin Shingade. They have only one right raider in Monu Goyat, Bengal should go for Surjeet Narwal over Nitin Madane as Delhi's defense has been struggling a lot against right raiders this season.
