Patna Pirates 29-25 Telugu Titans; 4th win in a row for the Pirates
Patna Pirates won their fourth match in as many attempts in Star Sports Pro Kabaddi Season 3 with a 29-25 win over Telugu Titans. Pardeep Narwal amassed 11 points for the Pirates while Rahul Chaudhari’s 7 points went in vain as Patna exacted revenge on Telugu Titans for their loss in the 3rd place play-off last season.
Rahul Chaudhari started the proceedings with a point in his first raid, but 18-year-old Pardeep Narwal levelled the score in the very next raid. Sukesh Hegde gave the Titans a 2-point lead in the 6th minute, but it wasn’t long before the Pirates restored parity through Pardeep’s raid three minutes later.
From the 10th minute, it was all Patna Pirates as they hammered through the Telugu Titans defenders with ease. Rajesh Mondal began the demolition, which was completed by Pardeep. The 18-year-old raider won SIX points in his raid, which involved 4 touch points and 2 more for the all out.
The half continued with both the teams exchanging blows as the half concluded with Patna Pirates leading by 7 points.
