PKL 2019, Match 114: Haryana Steelers vs Gujarat Fortune Giants | Match preview, predictions and telecast details - Who will win today’s match?
Haryana Steelers were listless in their last game against UP Yoddha. Their raiders could not really get going and were dominated by UP Yoddha's sturdy defense. Vikash Kandola scored only 5 raid points, his lowest of this season. Vinay looked good and Prashanth Kumar Rai did his bit as well, but the overall attack was under par.
Ravi Kumar’s defense has looked solid this season. He has 39 tackle points so far this season, which also includes 3 brilliant High 5s. The return of Dharmaraj Cheralathan comes as a big boost to this side ahead of the knockout stages. With a little more assistance from cover Vikas Kale, the defense could be expected to come good again.
Haryana are currently at the 3rd position with 60 points and are expected to qualify for the playoffs.

Gujarat Fortune Giants were absolutely ruthless against the Tamil Thalaivas in their last game. It was just the kind of performance that would inspire the squad to believe in themselves again.
Their attack found a new face in Sonu, who scored a massive 15 points in the match. Rohit Gulia scored a Super 10 as well and that helped Gujarat immensely in the absence of Sachin Tanwar.
Parvesh Bhainswal was the leader of the defensive pack with a fantastic High 5. He was very well supported by all-rounder Pankaj and Ruturaj Koravi.
But Gujarat have lacked consistency this season and they cannot afford any further slip-ups. They have to win every match from now on in order to qualify for the playoffs.
Gujarat Fortune Giants Form Guide: W L D L L
Predicted Starting 7
Haryana Steelers: Vikash Kandola, Prashanth Kumar Rai, Vinay, Vikas Kale, Sunil, Ravi Kumar, Dharmaraj Cheralathan (C)
Gujarat Fortune Giants: Sonu, GB More, Rohit Gulia (C), Pankaj, Sunil Kumar/Vinod Kumar, Parvesh Bhainswal, Ruturaj Koravi
Haryana’s raiders will have to put up a better show. Vikash Kandola will face the heat against Parvesh Bhainswal and that promises to be a great contest.
Gujarat will need either Sonu or Rohit Gulia to produce a big total in the attack. If they get the lead early on, their defensive unit has the capability to maintain that edge and finish off the game.
Haryana Steelers could be expected to beat Gujarat Fortune Giants.
