The newly refined Bengaluru Bulls is set to open their campaign against Bengal Warriors on Sunday. The Bulls who had a forgettable season 3 campaign have spent a huge amount of money in the recently concluded Star Sports Pro Kabaddi auctions. Bengal Warriors, who finished 4th last time after two inconsistent seasons will be looking for a strong finish in the current season

The Live Streaming for the game between the Bengaluru Bulls and Bengal Warriors will be available on from 20:00 IST. The match will be telecasted live from DOME @ NSCI SVP Stadium, Mumbai, and will be aired on Star Sports 2 (HD) in English and Star Sports 3 (HD)  in Hindi.

Bengaluru Bulls, the runners-up in season 2 edition of the Pro Kabaddi league released their star players Manjeet Chhillar and Ajay Thakur in season 3. And they ended up finishing in the bottom two, with just two wins in 14 outings.

This season, the outlook of the Bengaluru team looks completely different after recruiting the former Mumbai Corner defenders Mohit Chillar and Surender Nada, where the former fetched a whopping price of 53 lakhs at the auctions. Both Mohit Chillar and Surender Nada have 215 successful tackle points between them.

Rohit Kumar, who was instrumental in Patna’s title-winning campaign last year will be playing for the Bulls. He has 102 raid points in season 3 the second best to Pardeep Narwal.

The 25-year was also an Asian Games Gold Medalist last year. He is going to be a big weapon for the Bulls with his super raids. This Bengaluru team unlike from the last seasons, look completely engaged in both attack and defence.

The Bengal Warriors have retained Jang Kun Lee who has been a pillar of their current set-up. The Korean has an extraordinary fan base in Kolkata with his athletic raids in the crunch situations. The former Bengaluru Captain Surjeet Narwal who had a poor outing last season will look to improve his performance in the new colours. Mahendra Rajput who had a successful season last time will continue to impress with his dashing raids.

The warriors from Bengal started their season 3 campaign with 5 straight wins but slipped a bit at the business end of the tournament. Vishal Mane, who acted as a beast in the Mumbai set-up will make life difficult for the raiders along with Nilesh Shinde.

The Bulls defeated the warriors on 4 occasions in the past. It’s going to a battle of defensive tackles than stunning raids. Let’s see who comes out on top.
