Haryana Steelers put up a tremendous game and won the close-called battle against the Bengaluru Bulls

Bengaluru Bulls were coming from a scintillating win against the Telugu Titans in Patna. With Pawan Sehrawat in fine form, they looked all ready to attack. Pretty much on the same page, Haryana Steelers defeated Patna Pirates in their home court.

Let's have a look at how the action unfolded when the Rohit Kumar and the Bengaluru Bulls locked horns with the Haryana Steelers.

Starting 7s

Bengaluru Bulls: Rohit Kumar, Pawan Kumar Sehrawat, Mohit Sehrawat, Mahender Singh, Saurabh Nandal, Amit Sheoran, Ashish Kumar

Toss

Haryana Steelers won the toss and chose the court.

Rohit Kumar started on a positive note, bringing a quick point for the Bulls. Vikash Khandola stole a swift bonus, scoring the first point for the Steelers that night.

High-flyer Pawan Sehrawat also kicked off in brilliant fashion, claiming points back to back. Rohit Kumar gave Bengaluru Bulls a proper kickstart as he initiated the first two-pointer in the faceoff.

A super tackle by Cheralathan sent Mohit Sehrawat off the mat, scoring two points for Haryana. A fast-paced affair from the very start, the scoreboard displayed 7-4 in the ninth minute of the encounter, with the Bulls leading.

A crucial review was claimed by Haryana in the tenth minute, which was declared unsuccessful, reducing the Steelers to just two players. Steelers suffered their first all-out of the night in under twelve minutes.

Khandola's escaping flight was put to rest by Saurabh Nandal, sending him to the bench. Only the fifth player to achieve such a milestone in PKL, Rohit completed the 600-point mark in his fifth season of the league.

A small glitch was noticed in Pawan's game, as the Steelers only allowed him three points in the first half. The defenders of Haryana, mostly Vikas Kale, inflicted three strong tackles back to back, sending the raiders off the mat.

As the match made it's way to the end of the first half, Bengaluru conceded an all-out. At the end of the first half, the score 17-16 was tilted in Bengaluru's direction as Haryana made a powerful comeback.

As the second-half commenced, Kandola picked up a bonus for his team. Kale was on fire, literally dashing raiders outside the mat. Naveen, the young prodigy, was not up to the mark with his performance against the opponents.

Haryana finally managed to tie the score at 21 each in the 28th minute of the encounter. Vikash Kandola, showcasing his top-notch game, contributed for his squad with excellence. Pawan Sehrawat was kept at bay, as per the strategy of Rakesh.

In the 37th minute of the match, Bulls took a review, which upon inspection was deemed unsuccessful, bringing the score on a tie. Vikas Kale, the former player from Patna, completed the third high-five of his career.

The match was decided in the buzzer-raid as Haryana's defence was just perfect. The Steelers put up a tremendous game and beat Bulls with a score of 33-30.

Haryana Steelers were magnificent in both offence and defence throughout the game. Both Vikash and Vikas completed their super-ten and high-five respectively.

On the other hand, the Bulls had a dull night. The defence made some rookie errors, losing the battle. Pawan was also kept quiet throughout the face-off./
