One of the standout points from the first half was the variety of attacking threats posed by the Bengal Warriors, who unlike their opponents, did not rely on one person to do the scoring in raids - with strike raider Maninder Singh ably supported by his raiding brigade.

The man from Jalandhar was on fire from the start - using his height and power to great effect. Maninder picked up six quickfire points in the first half itself, recording just one unsuccessful raid.

Also keeping the scorers busy were Iranian import Mohammad Nabibakhsh and K. Prapanjan, who played their roles to perfection. Nabibaksh ended the first half with five raid points while Prapanjan also had four to his name - a stark contrast to the Bulls' manner of gathering points, who seem to be reliant heavily on the brilliance of Pawan Sehrawat.
