The auctions are going to be exhilarating as the Right to Match (RTM) system is intercalated this season. With only less than two weeks left for the auctions, here is the list of top ten players to look out for in the auctions.

#10 Nitin Tomar

Nitin Tomar was the costliest player last season

The services player Nitin Tomar was the costliest player in last season's auction and was bought by UP's franchise in 93 lakhs.

Nitin played extraordinarily in 2016 Kabaddi World Cup. He scored a total of 177 points, but his performance was not up to the mark in the last season.

Fans expect him to come fully prepared in the forthcoming season as he is one of the best we have had in the league.

Nitin played his debut in season 3 from Bengal Warriors and ever since then, he has played in Puneri Paltan and UP Yoddhas and never looked back.

#9 Prashanth Kumar Rai

Prashanth Rai played wonderfully for his team last season

Prashanth Rai, who spent his first three seasons of the league with Telegu Titans before making the switch to Dabang Delhi, played wonderfully well last season for Haryana's franchise.

The Mangalore-born player was unstoppable in season 5 and was the hero of Karnataka's team in the Kabaddi Nationals.

He scored a total of 80 points in the 16 matches. He helped his team a lot with his amazing game-play last season.

It will be really exciting to see him playing in the upcoming season of PKL. Let's see if he is chosen by Haryana Steelers again or by any other team. He was sold to Haryana Steelers for 21 lakhs last season.

#8 Surender Nada

Surender Nada was the best defender of season 5

Surender Nada, who played for Haryana Steelers last season, was awarded the best defender of the league. It was rather a shocker for us as this wonderful player was not retained by Haryana's franchise despite his seamless game.

Nada, who played in U Mumba for the first three seasons and was also a member of Bengaluru Bulls in season 4 has proved himself as one of the best defenders in the league.

We are waiting for the auctions eagerly as picking him up as a lead defender will count as a good move made by any team.

Surender scored 80 tackle points in 21 matches which is no less than a feat for a defender in such a tough competition. He was the priority pick of Haryana's franchise.

#7 Fazel Atrachali

Fazel is one of the top foreign players in the league

Fazel Atrachali is one of the top foreign players in the league. He has played in teams like U Mumba, Patna Pirates, and Gujarat Fortune Giants as well.

He scored a total of 57 points in 24 matches last season. He is also one of the top defenders in the league who has defeated players like Pardeep Narwal.

This left corner defender has also helped Patna Pirates win the trophy in season 4 under the captaincy of Dharmaraj Cheralathan. He was the priority pick for Gujarat's franchise last season.

#6 Manjeet Chillar

Manjeet Chillar was not able to perform his best last season due to an injury

Manjeet Chillar, who is the top all-rounder of the league and showed an appreciable game in the Kabaddi World Cup. He has been a part of Bengaluru Bulls, Puneri Paltan and also Abhishek Bachchan's Jaipur Pink Panthers.

A lot was expected from him last season but he was not able to perform up to the mark due to an injury.

Manjeet was also the top defender in the Kabaddi World Cup, as he contributed a lot to the team India's win. He did not give his 100 percent last season and scored a total of 52 points in 15 matches.

He was sold to Junior Bachchan's Jaipur Pink Panthers for 75.50 lakhs in the auction last year.

#5 Deepak Niwas Hooda

Deepak is one of the finest players PKL has seen

Deepak Hooda, who has played in teams like Telegu Titans and Puneri Paltan, is one of the finest players PKL has seen.

His game has drastically improved, and he has always been one of the top-performing players in the league. He has played alongside top players like Rahul, Manjeet, and Ajay. Playing with the top kabaddi stars has highly influenced his game.

It was a stunner for us as he performed really well, but still was not retained by the Pune's franchise.

He is one of the best raiders of the league and also scored a total of 186 points in 24 matches.

#4 Rishank Devadiga

Rishank Devadiga was the hero of Kabaddi Nationals

Rishank Devadiga, the man with the famous t-shirt number 777 showed an amazing game last season. He also helped Maharashtra win the Nationals after 19 long years.

Devadiga, who has played as a part of U Mumba since last fours seasons played for UP's franchise this time and yet again his performance was really well.

We expected UP's franchise to retain him but it seems like UP wants to build a fresh team this time. No wonder we are super excited about the auctions.

He scored a total of 170 points in 21 matches last season. He also was the hero of the Kabaddi Nationals.

Rishank was sold to UP Yoddhas for 45.5 lakhs and this time, we expect his price to rise higher than before due to his exceptional performance.

#3 Anup Kumar

Anup Kumar is not retained by U Mumba

Anup Kumar or, captain cool is one of the best captains the league has witnessed. He is known to keep a cool during the hardest of times.

He has been playing in U Mumba since season 1 and it will be hard for us to imagine him in another team.

Anup has got a special ability to turn the game completely from the second half, but disappointingly, it did not help Mumbai's franchise last season.

He is one of the best in the league and fans expect a lot from him and we are pretty sure that he will stand up to the expectations.

#2 Monu Goyat

Monu played amazing last season and scored a total of 202 points

Monu Goyat played a big role in his team's victory last season. He played for the Pirates and scored a massive total of 202 points.

He helped Pardeep Narwal as the main supportive raider and showed his potential. He also played magnificently in the Nationals.

The duo of Monu and Pardeep would have rocked in season 6 if he too was retained by Patna's franchise but it might even be a strategy made by the team as Final Bidding System is also included in the auctions.

Monu started his PKL career in season 4 and played for Bengal Warriors. He also plays for services' team in the Nationals.

Monu was sold to Patna Pirates for 44.50 lakhs and this year, he might be one of the costliest player due to his amazing game in season 5.

#1 Rahul Chaudhari

Rahul is the first player to achieve the milestone of 700 points

Rahul Chaudhari, the poster boy of VIVO PKL, has been so far the best raider in the league. He is the only player to achieve the milestone of 700 points which was completed last season.

The 25-year-old raider has been playing in Telegu Titans since season 1 and it came to us as a big shock when the team did not retain him. Rahul was in a great form last season, and not retaining him can incur a huge loss to the Titans.

Even though Rahul has not been retained, we would get to see a lot of teams bidding high for him. It will be really exciting to see him donning on another team's t-shirt this time.

The sixth edition of VIVO PKL will start from 19th October this year after the Asian Games which is going to take place in August.
