Chennai Super Kings won by 2 wickets
Player of the match: Ravindra Jadeja
That's that from this game, do catch all the live-action that's happening with another game between RCB vs MI. This has been me, Pradeep Somashekar along with my co-commentator Shashwat Kumar as we take your leave. Signing off, take care!
Ravindra Jadeja has been adjudged the Man of the Match!
Eoin Morgan: It was a hell of a game, first and foremost both the teams played some exceptional cricket. CSK managed to get over the line but it went right down to the wire. It was a hot day, the guys fought hard and I don't think I have lot of complaints today. We take a lot of positives from this game and stay in the game as much possible to give us more chance for ourselve of winning the game. It's difficult to judge in that situation, we go for the wickets at the end and Sunil's been sensational and Dre Russ too for us all the time. Talking about Jadeja, the whole tournament has abundance of international talent and some top class cricketers all round and he's someone like Sam Curran in England shirts and pretty impressed with how he goes about. Impressed with how Varun and Ferguson bowled today, it's all about the match games for them and gives them the confidence.

Ruturaj Gaikwad: When you are chasing such a big total, opening stand is very crucial where we managed to do it today, could've been better if one of us stayed till the end and made things easier. Jadeja is very cool even when sitting in the dug out or going out to bat or in such situation, he backs himself. Nervousness was obviously there with the last ball, could've gone to the Super Over. After a win, yes, we obviously celebrate.
Chennai Super Kings win the game by 2 wickets!

WHAT A GAME AND WHAT DRAMA IN THE END! Chennai Super Kings almost made a mess of the chase in the end but it was Ravindra Jadeja, the crisis man and does it again, clobbers Prasidh Krishna for 22 in that over and that pretty much sealed the game for them. Spare a though for Sunil Narine who made things interesting for Knight Riders in the end and kept them in the game till the last ball.

Sunil Narine comes in to bowl the final over and sends Curran packing but Shardul Thakuar delivers with a paddle sweep down to fine to pick up the three runs almost seals the game for them.

But Narine had other ideas as Jadeja gets caught dead in front but Deepak Chahar sweeps it over the mid-wicket to pick up the crucial single and takes the Super Kings over the line and to the top of the table!

At the start of the chase, Ruturaj Gaikwad and Faf du Plessis were on song in the powerplay and struck beautifully, timed them to perfection, pleasing to the eyes as they took Super Kings off to a flier as they put up a 74 run opening stand, pretty much set up the game nicely for them.

Russell comes in breaks the partnership for Knight Riders and then Faf du Plessis, Ambati Rayudu go back to the hut in quick succession. Moeen Ali kept hitting some lusty blows in the middle while he was and scored crucial 32 runs.

Some drama awaits in the end as the 19th over was bowled by Prasidh Krishna and Jadeja clobbers him for 22 and then that last over from Narine was a simply top notch from him to deliver when needed and he did that but Super Kings had enough to take them over the line. What a spectacle in the end it turned out to be!
NO, WE DON'T! Chahar has done it for the Super Kings and they go top of the table with that!

cricket ball icon Sunil Narine
19.6 Sunil Narine to Deepak Chahar, CSK WIN! Full delivery outside off stump. Chahar walks across his stumps and just about plonks that one over short mid wicket before scrambling across to the other end! What a game! CSK back to the top of the table!
Deepak Chahar is in the middle, right-hand bat!
Ravindra Jadeja lbw Narine 22(8b, 2x4, 2x6)

OH MY GOODNESS! Narine in a final over, it's ridiculously impossible to get away with him and Jadeja has to go back here.
19.5 Sunil Narine to Ravindra Jadeja, HUGE APPEAL AND GIVEN! Length delivery just outside off stump that is darted into the batter. Jadeja plants his front foot, looks for the sweep but makes no contact as the ball thuds into the front pad. KKR go up and so does the umpire's finger! Jadeja reviews, more out of desperation it seems!

There is no bat involved and Ball Tracking shows that the ball would have smashed into the stumps! Impact was Umpire's Call too!
19.4 Sunil Narine to Ravindra Jadeja, full delivery angled into the batter on leg stump. Jadeja falls across and plays all over it as the ball pings off the pads towards short mid wicket
19.3 Sunil Narine to Shardul Thakur, length delivery on leg stump. Thakur gets inside the line of the ball and paddles that one past short fine leg for three runs. Scores level! What a shot under pressure!
19.2 Sunil Narine to Shardul Thakur, OH! Length delivery in the channel that pitches and spins away. Thakur has a waft at it and sees the ball sneak past the outside edge of the bat
Shardul Thakur is in the middle, right-hand bat!
Sam Curran c sub(Nagarkoti) b Narine 4(4b, 0x0, 0x0)

When you have the magician bowling the final over, you can expect such kind of drama and Curran looks to finish things off, holes out!
19.1 Sunil Narine to Sam Curran, OUT! OH DEAR! Length delivery outsdie off stump. Curran comes down the track and drills that one down the ground towards the sweeper at long off, who does everything right and then holds onto the chance! What have you done, Sam!
Sunil Narine to bowl the final over! Fittingly the right man for them to do it!
Does Knight Riders still have hope? Can they pull this off? The fans are shell shocked though.
Some unbelievable hitting from Jadeja, what a beast of a player he's become, can single handedly win games on his own these days and now he's doing it for the Super Kings. Feel for Prasidh Krishna though!
