A captain's knock for the ages. And in a record-breaking contest, Alyssa Healy has written herself into folklore with an innings of this kind. Australia continue to find new ways to win and they remain unbeaten in the tournament. It's scary to think that they haven't really been clinical as such and once they do hit those levels, they will be unstoppable. For India, they will take positives out, particularly with the way their top-order stepped up and with their ground fielding as well. But they've now lost two in a row and will have a week off before a big game against England next Sunday. That's a long wait after back-to-back defeats but it gives them the opportunity to set a few things right.

Alyssa Healy (Australia captain): Great result, we'll take those two points. To chase down 330 in a 50-over game is new territory. Hope we don't have to do it again but if we do, we know we can do it. I don't think there were changes necessary. Our top-order felt like we needed to contribute a little bit more. Throughout the tournament there have been some early collapses and today chasing a big total, we had to get off to a good start. Takes a lot of pressure off me when you've got Phoebe Litchfield at the other end. And we kept the run-rate in check throughout which was good. (On Annabel Sutherland) She's probably the pick of our bowlers from a length perspective. She identified the length to bowl beautifully. To restrict them to 330 sounds a little bit stupid but we pegged them back in the back end and that'll give us confidence. Partnerships are key. It's something we've been lacking in the first couple of games. Each person who came in built some partnerships. Ash played beautifully today and ultimately got most of the job done which was great. (Will Perry and Schutt be ready for the next game?) I hope so. There's some cramp going around the group at the moment but we've got a couple of days off in Vizag so hopefully we can explore the town.

Harmanpreet Kaur (India captain): The way we started, we thought we would set 30 or 40 more runs on the board. We missed out in the last 6-7 overs. We kept losing wickets and that cost us. It was a good batting wicket but we were not able to capitalize in the last 6-7 overs. (On the opening stand) They've been outstanding for us. For so many games they've been giving us good starts. (On addressing the frequent collapses) Last three games, we were not able to bat well in the middle-overs. Our lower order took the responsibility but today the first 40 overs were really good and the last ten, we did not execute well. You're not going to be 100 per cent all the time but it's important how you come back. Lots of positives from this game. (On Shree Charani) She's been outstanding. She's always been there whenever the team needed and today as well she bowled really well. It wasn't easy against Healy but she bowled well to her too. (On the combination) We'll sit and discuss because this combination has given us a lot of success in the past. Two bad games are not going to make a big difference for us but going forward, there are a lot of things we need to sort out.

Perry couldn't have sealed the chase at a more opportune time. Moments after the winning hit, the heavens opened up and the covers had to be brought on!

Alyssa Healy (Player of the Match, 142 runs off 107 balls): "Really proud of the group to pull ourselves out of a bit of a hole with the ball. Batting was decent, and a good effort all round got us over the line. I tried to lock myself in for a big day, could not be there till the end but the girls did it. Was looking at 380, so, on the whole, to pull it off tonight was special. The girls adapted to things incredibly and that's what helps us through and through."

A whopping 661 runs in 97.5 overs and Visakhapatnam has witnessed a mouth-watering tussle! It ebbed and flowed but in the end, Australia held their nerve to get over the line like they've done so often over the years. The hallmark of a champion outfit is to find a way to win and despite the odds stacked up against them in the first innings, they roared back to restrict India to 330 when it could have just so easily been 350.

And then, skipper Alyssa Healy stole the show. Short of runs and with some pressure mounting, she answered her critics in style with a breathtaking century, setting the tone in the powerplay in the company of Phoebe Litchfield. There was no swing or seam movement on offer and dew set in with the ball sliding on nicely on what was in any case a belter of a track. And Australia raced along to 82 in the powerplay with India's seamers just not up to task.

Shree Charani was phenomenal with the ball as she kept things tight but skipper Harmanpreet Kaur's move to remove her out of the attack definitely raised some eyebrows, especially given that Charani removed Litchfield in her first over. Ellyse Perry forged a solid partnership with Healy, who was seeing it like a beachball and cantered along although the former then retired hurt with what seemed like a cramp. Beth Mooney failed to leave a mark and departed soon to a stunning catch from Jemimah Rodrigues before Charani castled Annabel Sutherland with a peach.

India kept themselves in the contest but as long as Healy was around, the target was never in doubt. Australia continued to waltz along with the skipper raising a fantastic hundred and taking the attack regularly to keep the asking rate well in check. Ashleigh Gardner was an able ally as India seemed lost for answers although Charani dismissed Healy to keep the hosts in the game. Soon after, Tahlia McGrath bit the dust and with Perry still in the hut, Australia's job wasn't getting easier.

Gardner's wicket well and truly brought India back in it but the ice cool head of Perry returned to take control of the situation. Amanjot Kaur went for plenty but roared back in the slog overs to find herself on a hat-trick. But the Aussies leveraged their batting depth and with 13 needed off two overs, Kim Garth soon unleashed an outstanding reverse-sweep before Perry sealed the deal with a maximum as Australia secured the highest successful chase in all Women's ODIs!

Sealed in style! Never in doubt, Ellyse Perry. Not a champion cricketer for no reason now, is she? She may have retired hurt earlier but of course, she gets the job done to seal a record chase in Women's ODIs - the highest successful chase ever as Australia create history in Vizag!
