"From the pavilion end, the boundary on one side is 60m, the other is 67m. A hit down the ground is 73m. I have been told that the pitch was watered this morning, the sun has been beating down on it, but there still might be some dampness around. When I poke the pitch with a pen, it goes in. So, that shows there is a bit of moisture in it." says Murali Kartik.
"Beautiful coverage of grass through the middle. I reckon the bounce would generally be even. One end seems dry, so there might be some assistance for spinners. I feel both teams might want to chase. The wicket will be good for cricket. A little bit of swing up front, a bit in it for spinners and also great for batting." adds Michael Clarke.
