That's it from the Trent Bridge! What a thrilling encounter we've had here to kick off the double-header Saturday. The Trent Rockets have sealed a hard-fought victory, but the Southern Brave pushed them all the way. But the action doesn't stop here. Join us for the second game of the day between Oval Invincibles and Welsh Fire. It promises to be another cracker of a match. Until then, this is Meeth Agrawal, signing off on behalf of Sooryanarayan Sesha and Karthik. We hope you enjoyed our coverage and look forward to having you with us for the next one.
Tom Moores is the Player of the Match for his match-winning 55 off 30 balls. Here's what he has to say: It was a little bit slow at times. A bit of hold for the spinners but I thought it was a pretty good wicket. Always a short side at Trent Bridge we try to capitalize on and it was a good win. It's great to bat with Tom (Banton). He was just keeping me nice and calm. We bounced ideas off each other and tried to keep each others going. It was the kind of wicket where if you bowl in good areas it can be difficult to score. I like the way I sort of play. I always try to take it on and jump on anything if it's there. Always nice in front of the home crowd. Thought the boys stuck at it pretty well especially with a tough thing that happened with Adam. We wish him well and hope he's okay.
5:15 PM Local Time, 9:45 PM IST: Trent Rockets win by 4 wickets!
Tom Moores - 55 (30) | Marcus Stoinis - 2/18 Leus du Plooy - 55 (34) | Jordan Thompson - 2/17
Marcus Stoinis seals the deal with a maximum but it was a bit of an anticlimactic win for the Trent Rockets which they won't mind one bit! They lost both Tom Moores and Tom Banton in quick succession after their match-winning 76-run partnership, but they had done enough to get their team over the line. The Trent Rockets win by four wickets to seal a vital victory and climb to second in the table with three wins.
Chasing 141, the Rockets' innings had a rollercoaster of a start. Tom Banton started with a bang, bringing out the switch hit to get 14 from the opening set off James Coles. However, they lost Joe Root early and then suffered a mini-collapse, going from 51/1 to a precarious 60/4. A questionable decision to demote Marcus Stoinis and bring Tom Moores up the order initially raised eyebrows, but Moores proved his captain right in spectacular fashion. He took the game head-on and, in a stunning display of power hitting, outscored Banton to reach his fifty in just 27 balls. He departed soon after, and Banton, too, missed out on a well-deserved fifty, but their incredible partnership had put the team on the brink of victory.
Earlier in the day, the Southern Brave had to fight tooth and nail to post a competitive total of 140/4. After a poor start, they were held to just 18/1 in the powerplay, thanks to a fantastic spell from David Willey, who got the big wicket of opposing captain James Vince. However, a crucial 53-run partnership between Leus du Plooy and Jason Roy gave them a chance to rebuild. While Roy struggled for fluency, Plooy kept the board ticking and went on to score a vital fifty. The Rockets' bowlers, particularly Lockie Ferguson, kept things tight at the death, but some valuable contributions from the lower order pushed the Brave to a decent total. There was also a worrying moment when Adam Hose slipped while fielding and had to leave the field with a serious injury.
All in all, what a game we've had! It was a tale of fightbacks. In the end, it was a victory for the home side, but the Southern Brave can be proud of their fighting performance.
19.1 Danny Briggs to Marcus Stoinis, SIX! SEALED AND DELIVERED! A slot delivery on middle and leg stump and that's just asking for trouble. The Hulk flexes his muscles, coming forward to launch this over long on with a clean swing of the blade to seal the deal. The crowd erupts as Trent Rockets return to winning ways with a 4-wicket win!
Danny Briggs with the task in hand.
Just two needed off the final five. A miracle loading?

18.5 Tymal Mills to Calvin Harrison, good length ball in the channel. Harrison opens the face and runs it off the edge for a single to deep third man
18.4 Tymal Mills to Marcus Stoinis, plenty of width on this short one. Stoinis sticks his bat out and steers it square of the wicket and into the deep for a lone run
18.3 Tymal Mills to Calvin Harrison, OHH! Full-ish and angling across the stumps. Harrison looks to work it leg-side before the leading edge lobs through the square third man region and into the deep for one
18.2 Tymal Mills to Calvin Harrison, OOH! Slants across a length outside off. Harrison goes feeling for it before the ball nips away past the outside edge

18.1 Tymal Mills to Tom Banton, NICKS OFF! The Brave aren't giving up just yet! Angling across a length on leg stump and the ball nips away upon pitching. Banton plays from the crease, only for the ball to catch the edge en route to the keeper. A terrific delivery to give Mills his 50th wicket in The Hundred!
Marcus Stoinis batting at 7th position
What a knock from Tom Moores! Deserves all the applause.
18.0
Tom Moores has been dismissed for 55 runs off 30 balls
17.5 Jordan Thompson to Tom Moores, GONE! Quite the anticlimax! But it ends a masterful knock from Moores! It was a wretched full toss around the off stump and he looks to flat-bat it into the off-side. Ends up scuffing it to mid-off where Vince takes a dolly. Moores walks off to a massive ovation though and he has earned every bit of it!
