That is all we have from this encounter. The action moves to Lord's tomorrow with Spirit taking on the Rockets. Do join us for that, for now this is Sourabh Agrawal signing off on behalf of Karthik Raj. Cheers!
Chris Green (Player of the Match): "It is a lot of fun. The support at Cardiff has been fantastic. Great to get a win in front of them. The message from Tom Abell was that 130 was defendable. Off-cutters from seamers and there was help for the spinners as well. The energy we had tonight, that is what got us over the line. (On Riley Meredith) Any time you have a bowler bowling high 80s, it puts an element of fear on the minds of batters. He should be standing here. Great that he is on my side and I don't have to face him. We didn't get a win to start the season but still played decent cricket. Tonight was close to a complete performance. There is a great atmosphere in the team and we will continue playing that way."
Chris Green has been named as the 'Player of the Match'.
9:18 PM Local Time, 1:48 AM IST: MATCH SUMMARY
Welsh Fire win by 25 runs
Tom Kohler-Cadmore 26(16) | Riley Meredith 4/9 Jos Buttler 57(34) | Scott Currie 3/21
Fittingly it is Riley Meredith who rattles the stumps with a corker yorker to finish things off and get the first win for Welsh Fire in the tournament this year.
137 would have been a well-below par total on most places but here it was par and the Welsh Fire unit led by Riley Meredith who have bowled themselves to victory on home turf.
It was Meredith who breathed fire with the new ball and set the cat amongst the pigeons with 3 wickets in his first 10 balls reducing Originals to 14/3 at the start of this run chase. They needed wickets early on and Meredith provided exactly that with some hostile stuff.
Buttler launched a counter-attack and was perhaps the only batter from both sides to get the pace of this pitch as he struck some beautiful boundaries and constructed his innings of 57. However, his wicket at 103 opened the floodgates and the visitors fell like a pack of cards losing their last 6 wickets for just 9 runs taking Manchester Originals from 103/4 to 112 all-out.
Manchester Originals have now got themselves in a spot of bother with only 1 win out of 4 while taking them to the bottom of the points table while Welsh Fire have opened their account getting their first win in three matches.
Sonny Baker has been dismissed for 1 runs off 3 balls
19.2 Riley Meredith to Sonny Baker, BULL'S EYE! Yorker on middle, Baker looks to squeeze it out but he fails to do so as the stumps are shattered. Sensational bowling performance from the Welsh Fire as they seal the first win of the season by 25 runs!
19.1 Riley Meredith to Sonny Baker, BEATEN! Length delivery on middle at 88 mph, Baker looks to push it through point but the ball passes the outside-edge before he can react.
26 needed off the final set and guess what, it will be the fiery Meredith to bowl it at numbers 10 and 11. Nose or toes?

Noor Ahmad has been dismissed for 2 runs off 3 balls
18.4 David Payne to Sonny Baker, back of a length with pace taken off, Baker pushes it to point for a single.
18.3 David Payne to Noor Ahmad, CHRIS GREEN IS EVERYWHERE! Short outside-off, Noor pulls it to deep mid-wicket where Green back-pedals and takes a splendid catch in front of the jubilant fans!
18.2 David Payne to Josh Tongue, short delivery with pace off, Tongue makes room and dabs it behind point for a single.
18.1 David Payne to Noor Ahmad, short and slow outside-off from around the wicket, Noor pulls it to deep square-leg for a single.
Josh Tongue batting at 10th position
It is all Welsh Fire now, 4 wickets in 9 deliveries and this game has taken a big turn. Payne will bowl 10 on the trot again, two tailenders now facing him.
