The War Dogs have challenged AEW Trios Champions The Opps (Samoa Joe, Katsuyori Shibata, and Powerhouse Hobbs)

Okada baits Swerve into the ring and bails, hoping for The Bucks to take his challenger out for him. Instead, Swerve rocks The Bucks with some House Calls. Before he can finish things, Okada takes him out with a chop block to the back of the knee. He severely damages Swerve's knee (which Swerve has apparently been wrestling on with a torn meniscus) before finishing him with a Rainmaker!

Okada and the Bucks continue to put the beat down on Paragon. They stop when Swerve Strickland's music hits. Prince Nana and Swerve don't exactly rush the ring to save Paragon, but the music is enough to get The Elite to stop.

As Kyle traps Matt in the ankle lock, Don Callis rushes the ring. He distracts the official, allowing Kazuchika Okada to take O'Reilly out with the Rainmaker! He sets Roddy up for a superkick party from the Bucks, and they finish Kyle off with the Tony Khan Driver!!

The Young Bucks defeat Paragon via pinfall.

Nick Jackson takes Roddy out on the floor with a corkscrew press from the top. Back in the ring, the assisted Sliced Bread and a running knee nearly put Kyle O'Reilly down for the three-count. The Bucks set up for the Meltzer/Tony Khan Driver, but Roddy catches Nick out of the air with a knee. The High Low takes Matt out, but Nick breaks the pin up with a superkick on KOR!!

Kyle traps Matt with the cross armbreaker! Nick tries to break it up with a slingshot, but is taken down with a backbreaker from Roddy, who stomps onto Matt as Kyle gets the lock in that much deeper. Nick manages to save Matt, and the Young Bucks take Roddy down with stereo superkicks. They go for the same on KOR, but Kyle counters with a double lariat that leaves all four men on the mat.

Back from the final break of the night, Roddy avoids More Bang For Your Buck and finally gets to a refreshed Kyle O'Reilly. KOR pelts Matt and Nick with his patented kicking combinations. KOR avoids a superkick from Matt, tosses his leg to Nick, and takes them both down with a pair of dragon screw leg whips!

The Elite end up getting back into the swing of things, as Matt Jackson holds Roddy in place for Nick's Swanton Bomb. KOR breaks up the pinfall and sends Matt to the floor.

Nick stuns Kyle with a superkick. Kyle attempts to slingshot off the ropes, but Matt pulls him down to set him up for the Indie Driver!! They connect on the floor as we cut to break!!

The constant issues with production seem to have really gotten to the Bucks. The early goings see Paragon taking advantage of their frustration, and even Matt Jackson injuring his foot by kicking the announcer's desk out of anger.

It's time for the main event!! Paragon vs. The You...er...Rod and Todd, according to the match graphics and ring announcer?? They're not gonna like that!!

Backstage, Gabe Kidd and the War Dogs cut a promo. Clark Connors, Drilla Moloney, and Robbie X want the AEW Trios Champions. They want The Opps!!

Gibson drops Kaun with the leaping Codebreaker, and GYV hit a dropkick/Michonoku Driver combination. Despite that, The Gates of Agony beat Gibson with their finish, Open the Gates!

Back from the break, Zac Gibson is able to get the tag. The taller of the Veterans plants Kaun with a back suplex but the pin is broken up by Liona. The large Liona is caught in the corner, though, as Gibson holds his jaw still for a Coast to Coast dropkick from James Drake!!

Just as James Drake begins to build some steam, Ricochet leaves commentary, claiming, "I'm gonna go cheat real quick." He distracts Drake, allowing Bishop Kaun to knock him to the floor and bounce him around ringside. Toa Liona clotheslines him over the railing before the trio poses on the apron.

Ricochet joins the commentary for this one. He and Gates of Agony assisted MJF in kidnapping Mark Briscoe on Dynamite, leading to Hangman Page attacking GOA and Ricochet. We may see them interfere in the AEW World Title bout tomorrow.

Our next match is a tag bout. The Gates of Agony and The Grizzled Young Vets, two very good tag teams that could be on top of the division with enough time.

After the match, Bryan Keith tosses two chairs inside. They stand the chairs up for a chokeslam through the steel!! Disgusting!!

Much like Isla Dawn earlier tonight, Mark Andrews doesn't have much luck with Big Bill. The giant flattens him in the corner with a big splash. Eventually, Bill finishes him with the East River Crossing.

The Alpha, and the winner of this year's G1 Climax

What's up with Jon Moxley and Kris Statlander?

Big Bill is out next. He faces another former WWE champion, former WWE NXT UK Tag Champion Mark Andrews.

Takeshita and Ishii trade shots, with Ishii rocking Takeshita with two nasty back-to-back lariats for a near fall. Takeshita blocks a brainbuster attempt and responds with a poison rana, but Ishii counters another knee strike with a strong shot to the jaw. The Alpha eats another lariat but kicks out. After finally hitting his running knee, Takeshita finishes the match with The Raging Fire.

The crowd was on their feet for this one, especially near the end when the pair started countering each other with their big guns. A really exciting match, even if the winner was predictable.

Back from the break, Takeshita spikes Ishii with a piledriver and a German suplex! Ishii catches The Alpha's knee, though, and counters with a big powerbomb. The Stone Pitbull is finally building momentum.

Takeshita and Ishii brawl to the floor, where the G1 Climax winner spikes Ishii with a DDT. We cut to commercial break as The Alpha keeps up the pressure.

Takeshita will get a future title shot against either Zack Sabre Jr. or Nigel McGuinness at Wrestle Kingdom in January.

Next up, we've got a one-on-one bout between the Alpha Konosuke Takeshita and Tomohiro Ishii. Takeshita won the G1 Tournament this year, pinning EVIL in the finals.

Backstage, Harley Cameron asks Kris Statlander if she got her $100,000 yet. She says no, because the check keeps coming up insufficient funds.

Jon Moxley and the Death Riders roll up as Cameron fails to get the money from the Bucks. Moxley confronts the Bucks behind closed doors and gets Statlander's cash before leaving with his crew and Gabe Kidd. Why is Moxley so involved in Statlander's business?

Bowens and Gunn haven't come to blows yet, but Bowens will one day have to face off against his former mentor.

After the match, ZSJ rolls to the floor to confront and shake the hand of Nigel McGuinness.

As ZSJ leaves, Anthony Bowens rushes the ring to attack Max Caster!! The "Pride of Pro Wrestling" is booed by this raucous crowd, and only stops his assault when Billy Gunn makes his return!!

The crowd is, genuinely, behind Max Caster. Too bad for him, he doesn't have the technical prowess to keep up with ZSJ. The IWGP World Heavyweight Champion taps Caster out in a little over two minutes.

ZSJ has five minutes to defeat Max Caster tonight. He toys with Caster while mocking Nigel at the commentary desk.

Max Caster is out next and gets a HUGE ovation from this Scotland crowd. His opponent tonight? Nigel's opponent tomorrow, the IWGP World Heavyweight Champion Zack Sabre Jr.!!

ZSJ shows the belt to Nigel before the match begins. Their match tomorrow should be incredible!

We get an interview backstage with Danny Garcia, who is upset that he lost the Technical Spectacle and IWGP World Title shot last week. Still, he vows to support Nigel McGuinness, who will challenge Zack Sabre Jr. for the gold at Forbidden Door.

After the match, Thekla attacks, as do Penelope Ford and Megan Bayne. Willow and Aminata get a little assistance from Harley Cameron, but Bayne and Penelope launch her overhead.

Thankfully, Harley is saved by big Stat!! Kris Statlander rushes the ring, dumping Bayne to the floor to protect her friend!
