Tottenham Hotspur to sign Giovani Lo Celso permanently

Tottenham Hotspur boss Jose Mourinho has confirmed that they'll trigger their option to sign Giovani Lo Celso permanently.

Lo Celso is currently on loan at Spurs, and the club have the option of making the deal permanent for £27 million in January or £34 million at the end of the season. The Portuguese manager said: 

"By himself he made the decision that the club is going to execute the option. That's normal, he earned it."

According to El Desmarque, Jurgen Klopp has set his sights on Napoli's Fabian Ruiz as an alternative to Isco.

Liverpool have seen a £47 million bid rejected by Real Madrid, so they are looking at other options. Klopp is keen on bolstering his midfield, as the club challenges for titles on several fronts.

It would require a sizable fee for Napoli to part with the 23 year old, higher than the £47 million Real rejected for Isco.

Paulo Dybala opens up about failed move to Manchester United

In an interview with Guardian, Juventus striker Paulo Dybala talked about his botched summer move away from Turin.

Manchester United were heavily linked with the Argentine, as a deal which would have seen Romelu Lukaku land in the opposite direction was mooted. In the end, nothing came of the talks, and Dybala has continued to dazzle at Juve. He said: 

"...I'm here, at a club that has treated me well. I'm happy, comfortable. [Maurizio] Sarri's arrival has helped. He wanted me to stay, which gave me strength when we didn't know what would happen. I knew he could teach me, help me bring out the best in myself."

Sky Sports News understands that long time Manchester United suitors, Saudi Sovereign Wealth Fund, are in talks to takeover Newcastle United. 

It's being reported that the Saudi's will team up with British financier, Amanda Staveley. She's previously tried unsuccessfully to buy out the current owner Mike Ashley's stake at the club.

PSG's Edinson Cavani has recovered from an injury, but is not available for his club's weekend encounter against Lille.

Speaking to reporters, club manager Thomas Tuchel said:

“The situation is not very clear and that's how it is. It's not much, it happens in a transfer window, but I'm calm.”

Sky Sports understands that Antonio Conte is on the verge of securing the services of Christian Eriksen. Tottenham Hotspur and Inter Milan had been at an impasse over a transfer fee, but a deal of €20 million is said to have been agreed.

The deal would see Daniel Levy get the fee he wants, while Eriksen triples his wages at Inter. Sources say nothing has been inked yet, but all parties are reportedly in agreement.

The Italian club and PSG are almost done with a swap deal which will have Mattia De Sciglio go in the opposite direction. The deliberation is in its final stages, and personal terms have been reportedly agreed.
