Cody Rhodes' shocking retirement statement means WWE may have a big plan for him, says Hall of Famer; new role (Exclusive)

Triple H makes an unfortunate WWE Crown Jewel announcement; Gunther, Cody Rhodes, Liv Morgan, and Nia Jax involved

Liv and Cody come out and they celebrate together.

Triple H and Saudi dignitaries present the title to Cody Rhodes. Triple H hugs and whispers something to him.

Gunther and Cody shake hands, but Cody is the champion now.

Cody is ready to put Gunther away. He goes for a Cross Rhodes but Gunther stops it and hits a Snapmare and a chop. Cody gets caught in the sleeper, but he reverses it, and that's it. He pins Gunther with his own sleeper working against him.

Cody Rhodes defeats Gunther to become the Crown Jewel Champion

Gunther is tired of Cody. He chops him to the corner and continues to punish him. He slaps him but Cody comes back and hypes himself up. He hits Gunther with a flurry. He hits a suplex and then eats the clothesline. Cody with the Cross Rhodes but near-fall.

Gunther with the dropkick and the powerbomb but Cody kicks out.

Gunther is almost absorbing Cody. He's fading. Cody hits the sudden Cross Rhodes out of nowhere. But he's knocked out.

Cody went for the Disaster Kick but Gunther catches him and does the Boston Crab. Gunther puts on the Sleeper. Cody gets to the ropes but Gunther hits the German Suplex and the Sleeper.

Cody hits the Bionic Elbow and then the Springboard Cutter. Gunther still kicked out.

Gunther does not stay down and Cody is scared now.

Cody finally gets a shot in and hits the Vertical Suplex on Gunther. He gets ready for the comeback but gets scoop slammed instead. Gunther goes to the top rope and stops the dive. He goes for the superplex and hits it

Gunther has had complete control of the match. Cody gets beaten down and runs out of the ring.

Cody tries to crawl away from Gunther but can't. He tried a slam but collapsed and almost got pinned.

Cody hits the Disaster Kick and sends Gunther out. He then tries the Plancha but Gunther gets in with the Sleeper. He throws him out again and Cody tries the Suicide Dive again. Gunther with the Sleeper again.

This match is chaotic.

Cody is pushed against the corner but he comes back with shots of his own and gets chopped down before hitting the Bionic Elbow. Gunther kicks Cody and continues the attack.

Gunther is shocked at how this is happening. He finally gets up and gets a headlock of his own.,

Gunther goes after Cody and tries to take control, but it's a struggle. Both stars are trying their best and neither is able to really take control.

The two are chain wrestling at the moment and Cody gets on top and works on Gunther's arm.

Cody is out and stares down the title he wants. The stars will walk away as the "true champion" of WWE.

It's time for the main event of the night.

Cody Rhodes vs Gunther for the Crown Jewel title

KNIGHT WITH THE GIANT BFT ON CARMELO OUT OF NOWHERE!

HE RETAINS

LA KNIGHT DEFEATS CARMELO HAYES AND ANDRADE

Knight takes out Andrade for a near-fall, but Carmelo hits Nothing But Net and Knight kicks out. Every star is giving their all.

Knight is almost pinned by Andrade until Carmelo breaks it up.

Carmelo goes after both stars. Andrade goes for the Avalanche Spanish Fly and hits it on Hayes. Knight watches as he's the only one standing. He goes to the top rope himself and then goes for the double diving elbow for a near-fall.

Andrade takes out Knight suddenly and then Carmelo takes him out. He goes for Knight but eats a BFT - it's STOPPED. Knight eats the Back Elbow and Carmelo hits move after move pinning both stars for a near-fall.

LA Knight bounces Carmelo off the announce table and goes after him. He destroys the star and then focuses on Andrade. He hits a flying shoulder tackle and then drops Carmelo on top of him.

LA Knight has the advantage early on in the triple threat, but he ends up thrown out of the ring with a double superkick.

Now, it's time for

Carmelo Hayes vs LA Knight (c) vs Andrade for the United States title

KO hits Orton with a huge Frog Splash from the top of a barrier in the crowd through equipment. Orton does not move. He's knocked out.

Orton has gone back to the old Viper Orton. The two stars brawl into the crowd. Owens hits Orton with a suitcase multiple times.

The match has been waived off. Daiviari appears as an official and takes away the chair from Orton and now Orton sends him into the steel post. He hits the DDT on Owens. Nick Aldis and Adam Pearce are out to stop it. Orton with the RKO on Pearce.

Orton's leg is injured.

The match has not even started and already both stars are going for it. Now both men are in the ring and KO hits Randy with a steel chair. The referee grabs the chair and KO hits the referee with the Stunner.

The match turns really brutal really fast. Orton fights back and hits a backdrop on a table.

Before the match can even start, Kevin attacks Randy with a chair. He goes after the knee and then rips apart the announce table.

Randy slowly walks to the ring for what is sure to be a brutal match.

It's now time for

Randy Orton vs Kevin Owens

Triple H is out suddenly with no fanfare. He presents Liv with the Crown Jewel title and hugs her.

Nia takes down Liv again, but is distracted by Raquel and Tiffany fighting at ringside. Liv nearly gets the pin but Nia kicks out. Raquel and Liv attack Tiffany but Nia attacks them both, flattening all three. Dom is at ringside too. Nia hits the legdrop, goes to the corner, Dominik slides in the briefcase. Raquel takes out Nia. Liv hits the Oblivion on Nia, the referee does not see it and Liv pins and wins!

LIV MORGAN DEFEATS NIA JAX TO BECOME CROWN JEWEL CHAMPION

Nia stops her and hits Liv with the forearm. Nia tells Tiffany to go away but as she's leaving, Liv nearly gets the pin. Tiffany heads to the ring again. She has the briefcase. The fans are behind her.

Liv slips and hits the SUNSET FLIP!

TIFFANY IS CASHING IN!

Liv tries another charge but Nia goes to the top rope for a super Samoan Drop. Liv still kicks out.

Huge tornado DDT by Liv. She almost got the pin. Nia throws her away and then stops the Codebreaker and hits the Samoan Drop.

Liv starts fast but gets stopped with a headbutt. Nia is taking out Liv and flattens her in the corner. She continues but Liv moves away and then attacks the knee of Jax.

WWE talks about how Rhea will be out for a long time as Liv comes down. The star will have to beat Nia to make it mean anything.

Now, it's time for Nia Jax vs Liv Morgan for the Crown Jewel Women's title!

Who will win and will Tiffany Stratton cash in?

He walks out while shooting on him, breaking character.

Bronson is somehow up even after that stomp. Seth is furious and shoots on him. He asks him what's wrong with him. He can't believe it.

Seth sent Reed into the steps and then hit him with a stomp. Seth with another stomp in the ring but Reed is still moving. He hits the Super Stomp from the top rope.

That's it.

SETH ROLLINS DEFEATS BRONSON REED

Seth tells Reed he should have finished him. Rollins rolls away from harm. Reed hits the splash.
