It may surprise everyone reading this, but Sasha Banks turns on Bianca Belair during their celebration. The second Belair's back is turned, she's hit with the backstabber. Banks follows with a tornado DDT before locking in the Bank Statement.

She breaks out of another octopus stretch from Vega, cracking her spine with a backbreaker. Finally Banks tags in, and she flattens Vega with a running meteora. A series of dropkicks set up for Three Amigos, and The Boss moves to the top rope for the Frog Splash. She connects, but Carmella breaks up the pin with a superkick.

Mella hits a facebuster, but Bianca stops the pinfall. Another facebuster attempt is countered, and Banks locks in the Bank Statement.

Sasha Banks and Bianca Belair defeat Carmella and Zelina Vega via submission.

As we get back to the action, Vega has Vianca in an octopus stretch. She tags in Carmella, who hammers the SmackDown Women's Champion with boots while the crowd erupts in "EST" chants.

Belair saves her partner from a double duplex, and Banks sends their opponents to the floor. Belair picks up Banks and sends her into Carmella and Vega as we cut to break.

It's time for the main event. Bianca Belair and Sasha Banks vs Carmella and Zelina Vega. Mella gets a one-count on Banks after a hair-pulling slam, following with elbows in the corner.

Seth Rollins shows footage of Edge's title shot at Money in the Bank, including his attack on the WWE Hall of Famer. Rollins says that if he can't be Universal Champion, then neither can Edge.

When we come back from the commercial break, Seth Rollins is in the ring. During the break, Rollins attacked Edge and bounced a camera right off his head.

Crews blasts Nakamura with a leaping enzuigiri and spikes him with the German for a two-count. As Crews climbs up the turnbuckle, Boogs begins jamming on his guitar. Commander Azeez attacks him, distracting Crews long enough for Nakamura to avoid the splash. The Kinshasa connects, and King Nakamura has pinned the Intercontinental Champion.

King Nakamura defeats Apollo Crews via pinfall.

Shinsuke Nakamura tags in, but his Kinshasa is countered with a Zig-Zag. Dolph makes it to Apollo Crews, and the Intercontinental Champion hits an effortless standing moonsault.

Sasha Banks returns to SmackDown; Saves top champion from attack

We come back from the break to see Cesaro lighting up his opponents as he gets the fresh tag. Ziggler is turned inside out with a clothesline, earning Cesaro a two-count. Ziggler is caught in the Cesaro swing for ten rotations, and Cesaro follows with a sharpshooter.

Big E, Cesaro, and Shinsuke Nakamura are facing off against Apollo Crews and the Dirty Dawgs. E takes a spinebuster/Zig-Zag combo on the floor as we cut to break.

Paul Heyman meets Pearce and Deville backstage, asking what the plan is for SummerSlam. Finn Balor's name is typed up on the contract, but John Cena's the one that signed. Pearce says that he sees Roman and Cena's signatures, and that's good enough or him.

Balor says it'll be his privilege to return to NXT as Universal Champion. Before he can sign it, Baron Corbin attacks him. Corbin rolls into the ring with the contract and goes to sign it as Roman looks disappointed. Cena runs down, cleans Corbin's clock, and signs his name on the dotted line. Is this allowed? Are we getting John Cena and Roman Reigns at SummerSlam? What about Finn Balor?

Reigns saw Cena's promo earlier tonight. He tells Balor that Cena thinks he's lesser than he is. Reigns knows that's not true, and that Balor is more than deserving of a Universal Championship match. He's also worthy of a beatdown at SummerSlam. Reigns knows Balor is hungry, and respects that about The Prince.

Still, if Balor signs this contract, Reigns will smash him and send him back to NXT.

Reigns, of course, sits at the head of the table. As he goes to speak to Balor, the crowd breaks out in Cena chants. Reigns calls him "Mr. Missionary" and that's as far as I'll go with that.

Sonya Deville and Adam Pearce are in the ring for the Universal Championship contract signing between Finn Balor and champion Roman Reigns.

Reggie avoids some clotheslines with incredible agility. Still, Gable is able to hit a German suplex. At the top rope, Reggie rolls through an avalanche German, following with a running rolling senton. Before he can pin Gable, Otis knocks him off.

Reggie defeats Chad Gable via DQ.

Otis is given a microphone, and Otis says "It's not me, it's him." As Reggie looks at Chad Gable, Otis mows him down with a running shoulder tackle before the bell rings. Gable lays into Reggie and hits a bridging double-arm suplex for a two-count.

Reginald is out here to defend and...oh no, that's Alpha Academy's music. Reggie is sweating bullets while Chad Gable and Otis make their way to the ring. Can you blame him?
