SmackDown ends with Strowman's arms held high. Could we be seeing the next Royal Rumble winner?
...
Bryan's team gets taken out while Zayn squares off with him. However, just before Zayn can take advantage of a drained Bryan, Sheamus's music hits. Sheamus gets to the apron and tags in. It's a surprise tenth man! Sheamus runs in and runs wild, battering Zayn, Miz,  and Morrison, the last of whom getting the Beats of the Bodhran.

Zayn is locked in the cloverleaf, but is saved by Morrison. We get a finisher-spamming few moments here, winding up with Zayn and Sheamus. Zayn runs in for a Helluva Kick only to be blasted with the Brogue Kick.

Sheamus defeats Sami Zayn via pinfall.

After the match, Miz, Morrison, and Styles maul Sheamus. However, he's saved by the returning Braun Strowman, who runs through Styles, Zayn, and Cesaro.
...
It's now a nine-man tag, with Big E teaming with Bryan, Nakamura, and Otis while Miz, Morrison, Zayn, Styles, and Cesaro stand on the other side. Miz and Bryan are in the ring when we come back, with the long-time rivals in the middle of the ring. Miz's Figure-4 was broken up, but Miz tagged out to Zayn for a Blue Thunder Bomb.

Cesaro was next with a running elbow drop and a vertical suplex. Bryan wouldn't give in.
...
Miz and Morrison attack E, ending the match in a DQ once again. Otis quickly comes to E's aid, laying out both men with some big clotheslines.
...
Bryan makes it to his corner, and Big E comes in like a house on fire. Belly-to-belly suplexes for all. Cesaro tags in as well, and nearly takes the IC Champ's head off with a springboard corkscrew uppercut. Big E kicks out and avoids the Neutralizer, spiking the Swiss Superman with a uranage. Before E can hit the Big Ending, Miz and Morrison come out.
...
Cesaro has Bryan locked in a sharpshooter when we come back. Bryan refuses to tap. Sami Zayn taunts the other side before punishing Bryan some more. Bryan blocks a superplex, sending Zayn to the mat with a headbutt. He follows up with the dropkick, taking out Zayn. Bryan unfortunately falls on the wrong side of the ring, still holding his bad leg.
...
...
Zayn finally brings Bryan to his corner, tagging out to AJ Styles who wraps Bryan's leg around the ring post. Bryan's knee may be injured as we head into another break.
...
Big E and Zayn get into the fray, with the Intercontinental Champion running through the Great Liberator. Bryan tags in, battering Zayn with uppercuts. Zayn can't get away from the corner, and Big E comes back in for a double hip toss and a near fall.
...
...
When we come back, Cesaro and Shinsuke Nakamura are in the ring for their teams. Nakamura, Bryan, and Big E are facing Cesaro, Sami Zayn, and AJ Styles.
...
Bryan counters the Phenomenal Forearm, hitting a double underhook suplex and transitioning into an attempted armbar. Styles squirms and is locked into the Yes Lock instead. He just barely gets to the ropes. As Sami continues to harass Bryan and everyone at ringside, Big E's music hits.

Big E comes down to the ring, slowly takes off his jacket and belt, and runs through Zayn with a clothesline. Zayn is launched into a chair, the one that Cesaro was sitting in, specifically. Cesaro and Big E clash, eventually leading to a brawl in the ring that ends the match in a No Contest.

Shinsuke Nakamura comes in for the save, attacking Zayn and Styles, but stops before hitting Cesaro. Looks like we've got a six-man tag on the books, folks.

Sami Zayn's distraction really put Bryan in a bad way, as Styles has been all over Bryan since we came back from break. Bryan just barely gets to the ropes while Styles locks in the Calf Crusher.
...
A distraction from Sami Zayn and his documentary crew allow AJ Styles to take over before the break.

Cesaro is on commentary for this match as Daniel Bryan takes over in the early goings. The Leader of the Yes Movement focuses on the arm of Styles.

It's time for AJ Styles to take on Daniel Bryan, and he's opted to go it alone tonight. No Omos at ringside.

Reigns doesn't back off, though, and states that even in the afterlife, Owens' grandfathers have acknowledged him as the Tribal Chief. Owens is furious, but as he goes off, Roman cuts his feed.
...
Roman calls KO a fool, but if that's the case then that makes his father a fool, and his grandfather as well. Owens reiterates the importance of his grandfathers before warning Reigns again to think about what he's saying very carefully.
...
KO says that there is nothing Reigns or his family can do to keep him down in this Las Man Standing match. He's also got an Ever-Rise Rules shirt, so his merch is on point. Heyman goes in, saying that this is all about respect. When Roman Reigns begins to talk, he goes after his challenger's family.

Owens warns Reigns to not talk about his father, and the Universal Champion continues to antagonize him. Reigns says that Owens is a simple pawn, but he is a King.
...
It's time for the final meeting between Kevin Owens and Roman Reigns before the Royal Rumble. It's a split-screen interview, keeping these men away from each other.
...
...
Sasha Banks is met by Carmella's sommelier backstage and asks what the best bottle of wine would be to get Mella for when she breaks her jaw on Sunday. Looks like we're getting another title match at the Rumble.

Big E is trying to bribe Sonya Deville into revealing his Royal Rumble number. They're interrupted by The Miz and John Morrison, with the former hinting at a possible cash in on Roman Reigns. Big E says they're over the hill, and the Intercontinental Champion is able to take them on in a two-on-one brawl

Corbin attempts to attack Rey Mysterio, but the legendary Luchador manages to get one over on him before tending to his son.

Dom's aggression pays off this week, as he has Corbin struggling to gain control early. However, Corbin catches him going for the wheelbarrow facebuster, turning it into a high angle backdrop. The King then beats down Dominik while staring down his father Rey Mysterio, who is on commentary.

Dominik Mysterio faces King Corbin next, and prior to the break attacks the former US Champion on his way to the ring.
