Who will come out on top in the bout between Reigns and Murphy?
Updated: 14 August 2019 07:52 IST - Published: 14 August 2019 07:16 IST
...
Here are all the results from tonight!
...
Thanks for hanging out with me tonight, everyone. I'm still getting the hang of how this all works, but I still had a great time.

Maybe I'll see you all next week!
...
Bryan and Rowan insist they know who actually attacked Reigns and they'll let everyone know....next week.

...
As we get near the last few minutes of the show, Roman Reigns confronts Bryan and Rowan backstage. The bearded duo insist that Reigns apologize.
...
And the rest of The New Day eat RKOs.... which is probably not part of the Keto Diet.
...
And Orton hits Woods with an RKO as well because.... well, just because, I guess.
...
Except here comes Kofi to save the da...

Nope, Orton hits him with an RKO
...
The Revival hit Woods with the Shatter Machine to pick up the win for their team.

Then, they attack the New Day after the fact.
...
It IS nice to see a WWE show ending with a segment involving the WWE Champion.

No, seriously.
...
...
As we head into another commercial, Orton throws Xavier Woods into the announced table with a wicked Belly to Back Suplex. Daaaaaaaaaaaaamn.
...
Called it!

The New Day vs The Revival & Randy Orton
...
After bad-mouthing Kofi over the result of their SummerSlam match, Orton suggests that he join The Revival and they have a six man match against The New Day.

We head to a commercial, but I think it's a pretty good bet that we're going to get a six man match.
...
...
Kofi Kingston accompanies his New Day teammates to the ring... which means that here comes Randy Orton.
...
It's now time for....

The New Day vs The Revival
...
SmackDown comes back from commercial, with Roman looking for Bryan and Rowan's dressing room.
...
Murphy "admits" that he lied.

Daniel Bryan doesn't like liars.

Murphy gets tossed across the room.
...
Rowan and Bryan are now confronting Buddy Murphy backstage, trying to intimidate him into admitting that he lied about Rowan attacking Reigns.

Rowan got impatient and just started beating the stuffing out of him.

This looks like an NYPD Blue interrogation.
...
Owens showing the same amount of anger and frustration that I do when I've been playing Dark Souls III for an hour.
...
Called it! Elias pulls the ref out of the ring, then makes a ridiculously fast count to give Joe the win over Owens.
...
We're back from the break and it looks like Kevin Owens is getting his second wind. But, of course, Elias is still at ringside and, considering the fine that Owens was subjected to earlier in the night, there's no doubt that he'll be involved in the end of this match somehow.
...
Oh, man. They just showed a Denny's ad and now I want pancakes....

Sorry, where was I...?
...
...
Samoa Joe and Kevin Owens are in the ring for their match, and it's been announced that there's a special guest enforcer for this match: Elias.
...
Kayla Braxton talks to New Day backstage and asks Woods and Big E about The Revival's accusations. After a series of comic exchanges, E and Woods said they have never ruined the Tag Team division
...
When we get back from the break, Kevin Owens takes on Samoa Joe.
...
Sorry, Graves. Superman Punch and Spear later, and Reigns picks up the win.

Still, great great match. Buddy Murphy has arrived.

Roman Reigns defeats Buddy Murphy.
...
Roman nails Murphy with a Superman Punch, goes for the pin.... AND BUDDY KICKS OUT!

Graves: "Murphy is gonna do this! Murphy is gonna do this!"
...
...
Win or lose, Buddy Murphy being paired up with Roman Reigns at the top of the hour is a big sign of trust towards the Australian - and he's earning that trust right now. The two of them are absolutely killing it out there.
...
Interestingly enough, we're an hour in to the show and we've had.... one match.

good match, mind you. But one match.
...
...
Roman gets the upper hand temporarily, but misses a "Drive-By", and Murphy takes advantage of it as SmackDown goes to a commercial.
...
Murphy manages to get the upper hand against Reigns, even knocking the former Universal Champion out of the ring.
...
As we head into the second hour, we get the introductions for the Buddy Murphy/Roman Reigns match. Murphy doesn't... actually get an introduction. He looks in great shape, though.

Roman Reigns vs Buddy Murphy
...
...
Hey, it's Aleister Black! He's going on about... sins... and things.

He's basically trying to get someone to challenge him, telling any potential opponent that if they want to take him on, all they have to do is "knock, knock, knock."
...
Shane McMahon has to pick somebody to take on Kevin Owens tonight, as he whines about his broken TV, when Samoa Joe essentially volunteers himself for the job.

So, we're getting Kevin Owens vs Samoa Joe tonight.

How awesome is that?
...
Bryan, once again, insists that he and Rowan had nothing to do with the attacks... and they can prove it.
...
...
SmackDown Live comes back from break with a recap of the whole Who Attacked Roman Reigns situation, as Daniel Bryan and Rowan are about to address the allegations against Rowan.

Bryan insists that the two of them had "nothing to do" with the attacks and that Buddy Murphy "is. A. Liar."
...
Just a reminder that SummerSlam 2020 will take place in Boston, MA.
...
...
Charlotte finally manages to get Ember Moon into the Figure 8, and Ember taps out. Good match. Not sure what purpose it served, but good match.

After the break, we'll get another recap of the current Roman Reigns story, as well as Rowan - with Daniel Bryan in tow - addressing the accusations against him.
...
And now Ember hits Charlotte with a Codebreaker? What's up with the Jericho tributes tonight?
...
...
As we come back from the commercial break, Charlotte snags Ember into a Liontamer-like Boston Crab... at least until Charlotte decides to let it go and attack Ember's knee. Looks like she's warming her up for the Figure 8.
