Donald Cerrone holds the distinction of being the only fighter that Conor McGregor has defeated since becoming double champ in 2016. The former UFC lightweight title challenger recently compared McGregor to Jake Paul, while noting that he would be willing to fight the former YouTube star.

Speaking on Brendan Schaub's Thiccc Boy Fight News, Cerrone stated:

"The Jake Paul phenomenon is kind of crazy, it's got everybody calling him out. It's kind of like the big Conor push - I feel that's happening with Jake Paul. Everyone wants in, and I don't see why they wouldn't because that's a big money fight."

After explaining that he doesn't believe Paul's fights are rigged, Cerrone added:

"Would I like to fight him? F**k, of course, how could I say no to f**king millions of dollars? I would definitely go out there and do it, but I'm not sitting over here saying, 'Jake, you're a f**king YouTuber, ain't worth a f**k, blah, blah, blah'. No man, you're making money. Make the f**king money and if you want to throw some money my way, I'm with you."

While Jake Paul has not announced his next opponent, it appears that Donald Cerrone is ready to throw his name into the mix to become the latest retired mixed martial artist to face the former YouTuber. It is unclear when Paul will announce his next fight.

Jake Paul claims he would knock out Conor McGregor in boxing or mixed martial arts

Conor McGregor recently weighed in on the upcoming boxing match between his training partner Dillon Danis and YouTuber KSI, sharing that he is not a fan of celebrity boxing. The former double champ shared that he would only participate if there were belts involved, prompting Jake Paul to chime in, stating:

"You fight for belts? Last time you fought for a belt was 4 years ago. Lost 3 of your last 4 fights. I would knock you out in the squared circle with one hand tied behind my back. To be fair, in the cage I would need two hands. But same result."

While Jake Paul has not faced a professional boxer, he has defeated several retired mixed martial artists. He has repeatedly angled for a bout with Conor McGregor, the UFC's biggest draw, however, the former double champ has hardly entertained his call outs. Paul and McGregor do not currently have a fight scheduled, however, both have teased that they will compete in the new year.
