Mike Tyson once took part in a violent melee in a bar that Tyson Beckford was present for. That is, at least, according to a three-year-old VLADTV interview from the actor himself. Tyson and Beckford have a friendship, and Beckford recounted an instance when they were at a bar.
As he says it, he had certain issues with an individual by the name of Max Pierre, which he described as being a college-age disagreement over a woman that Beckford had coaxed away from him. This infuriated Pierre, with whom he crossed paths years later at the aforementioned bar.
Apparently, Pierre approached Beckford and spoke out of turn, prompting Tyson to step in and defend his friend, with Beckford describing Tyson's legendary power:
"He punched Max in the chest, and I know you remember this Max. Max's whole chest cavity came in and he went back like this, and he shot past people, into people, knocked him down and a few other people. And then me being a dummy, I just in the way and I was holding Mike."
Tyson was so enraged by the situation that Beckford feared it could escalate even further.
"Mike said, 'Don't you ever disrespect him like that again! He's a f*cking icon!' And I was just like, 'Yeah you did that Mike.' The look on Max Pierre's face when he was gasping for oxygen. I thought he was going to die. I'm looking down at him, I got my drink in my hand, didn't spill it, and I'm like, 'Damn!' What came to mind was, 'You got knocked the f*ck out.' But it was like, 'You shouldn't be f*cking around.' And the next thing you know, Mike was trying to kill him."

Tyson is no stranger to altercations outside of the ring, but has since mellowed out in his old age. Now, though, he is gearing up for a return to fighting.
Mike Tyson vs. Jake Paul is in two weeks
Mike Tyson and Jake Paul will have their long-awaited boxing match on Nov. 15. Both men will face each other at heavyweight, and the fight will be streamed on Netflix as the first live sporting event on the platform.
The bout has been marred by controversy, especially surrounding Tyson's age and health given that the fight was previously postponed and there's a 31-year age difference between Tyson and Paul.
However, for better or worse, the fight will go on, with many merely hoping that Tyson does not suffer significant damage from fighting at an age of near 60.
