Alex Pereira reacts to Magomed Ankalaev's constant digs at him
Shortly after UFC 313, Magomed Ankalaev agreed to an immediate rematch with Alex Pereira. Meanwhile, Pereira took some time off and allegedly delayed accepting the fight against Ankalaev. As a result, the UFC light heavyweight champion made repeated derogatory comments about the Brazilian.
In a recent interview with UFC Brasil, 'Poatan' responded to those comments, saying:
"He's promoting himself by saying my name. No one knows he's the champion, so when he says my name, he appears a little. But I'm not responding to his provocations, because I know it's just for promotion. I'll respond when the time is right."
