At ONE on Prime Video 6, the highly anticipated match between Stamp Fairtex and 'C18' Anissa Meksen will finally ensue. A globally recognized striking talent, Meksen believes that she will have a relatively easy match on January 13.

Anissa Meksen has held world titles around the globe, including under the banners of GLORY Kickboxing, ISKA, Venum Muay Thai and Enfusion. With that in mind, 'C18' does not think Stamp Fairtex is one of the best opponents she will have fought in her career.

In an interview with ONE, the French-Algerian explained:

"For me, she's a good fighter, but not the best. I have beaten stronger athletes than her. So for me, I never underestimate my opponent. But you know, I prepare like it will be the last one. Every time. But for me, she's not the best fighter in the world. I've beaten fighters stronger than her."

However, Meksen does have some respect for some of Stamp's skills. In particular, the French-Algerian fighter recognizes the following abilities from her Thai-born opponent:

"She has a good elbow and good punches. But that's it, one low kick, one middle kick. I'm sorry to say that, but she's a fighter. She's complete, but nothing in particular."

Anissa Meksen set for mixed-rules superfight against Stamp Fairtex

Anissa Meksen and Stamp Fairtex are booked for a mixed-rules superfight at ONE on Prime Video 6 on January 13. The rules will alternate each round between MMA and Muay Thai.

While Meksen was collecting world titles all around the globe, Stamp was building a legacy in ONE Championship. She claimed world titles in both kickboxing and Muay Thai in the promotion, becoming ONE's first two-sport world champion.

Later, she also won the ONE Women's Atomweight World Grand Prix to earn her place as a top contender in the atomweight MMA ranks.

Meanwhile, Meksen has experience in Muay Thai, kickboxing, and even boxing, but she hasn't officially competed in a professional MMA bout.

However, the French-Algerian fighter is not concerned. During the post-fight interview after her latest bout, 'C18' explained:

“I trained MMA for a long time now, I expect a fight so it’s good for me, it’s a good opportunity so let’s see what happens in January. I’m so happy it’s the first event we’ll do MMA and Muay Thai so I’m happy to do this.”
