Patchy Mix recently made a cryptic statement as he hinted that perhaps fans could see him in the UFC in the future.

The reigning Bellator bantamweight champion has achieved a great deal of success in his career so far. Last year, he won the $1 million bantamweight Grand Prix as well as the interim championship and then went on to submit Sergio Pettis in a title unification bout to become the undisputed champion.

'No Love' has also earned quite a reputation amongst the MMA community as he is regarded as one of the top bantamweights in the world. Journalist Luke Thomas holds him in high regard and responded to a fan's question regarding the bantamweight champion competing in the UFC octagon. He wrote:

"I sure hope so. He is special."

It will be interesting to see whether Mix ends up making a move to the UFC as it doesn't appear as though his contract with PFL-Bellator will come up any time soon.

When did Patchy Mix extend his contract with Bellator?

Patchy Mix has showcased his incredible ability in the cage and has been regarded as one of Bellator's top fighters in recent years.

The reigning Bellator bantamweight champion joined the promotion as an unbeaten prospect in 2019 and quickly ascended the rankings. He experienced an early career setback as he lost a unanimous decision to Juan Archuleta for the then-vacant bantamweight championship, but quickly rebounded and went on an incredible run.

Last July, Bellator announced that they had signed Mix along with Sergio Pettis to long-term agreements but no other details were shared. The contract has since been absorbed by the PFL, so it's unclear how many fights or years he has left on the current agreement.
