Khabib Nurmagomedov seems highly impressed with French footballer Karim Benzema's recent performance for La Liga club Real Madrid. Madrid recently played French side Paris Saint-Germain in the second leg of a round of 16 fixture in the UEFA Champions League.
Benzema recently shared a video on Instagram showing clips from the game. Khabib Nurmagomedov shared the same clip on his Instagram story, expressing his joy over Benzema's brilliant hat-trick against PSG. 'The Eagle' went as far as claiming that this was likely the best performance of the Frenchman's career.
"MashaAllah brother, it was best game of your life. Very happy for you. You deserve everything @karimbenzema," Nurmagomedov wrote.
PSG took a 1-0 lead heading into the second leg of the fixture, which took place on the Spanish side's home turf at the Estadio Santiago Bernabeu in Madrid. Benzema, a mainstay for Real Madrid for over a decade now, grabbed the game by the scruff of its neck, scoring an incredible hat-trick and knocking out the French giants almost singlehandedly with a 3-2 scoreline over two legs.

Khabib Nurmgomedov's fighting days are well and truly behind him as the undefeated fighter is now focusing on coaching fighters and running his MMA promotion Eagle FC. The Nurmagomedov-owned promotion held its latest event, Eagle FC 46, at the FLXcast Arena in Miami, Florida on Friday night.
The event was headlined by a super-lightweight matchup between UFC legend Diego Sanchez and 'Motown Phenom' Kevin Lee. Following the event, Nurmagomedov announced that Eagle FC would return to US soil once again in May with an event. The headline fight will see former UFC heavyweight champion Junior dos Santos facing Yorgan de Castro.
