Former long-time ONE bantamweight champion Bibiano Fernandes wants nothing more than to earn another world title shot. However, he must get past rising Filipino contender Stephen Loman at ONE on Prime Video 4 first.

The Brazilian icon has shared the circle with many of the world's top talents, but each new opponent presents new challenges. Fernandes recently spoke to The MMA Superfan about his match with Loman. He said:

"One thing I need to watch out for is that he likes to move a lot. He punches around [and he moves]. Maybe he’s going to change his style. Maybe he will come to fight. But I’m ready for him. I’m a hundred percent. I’m ready to go there and give a good fight for my fans."

The 42-year-old former champ is making his first appearance inside the circle since losing his belt to John Lineker in March this year. Needless to say, Fernandes is entering the bout as motivated as ever to pick up a victory.

Is Bibiano Fernandes the most dominant ONE champ ever?

Bibiano Fernandes is one of the greatest fighters in ONE Championship history. Prior to his upcoming fight, 'The Flash' sat down with the promotion to remind people of his greatness:

“I was the most dominant champion in the ONE Championship. I defended the belt several times, while others who won the title in the division failed to do the same. I defended the belt 11 times, and I don't know if there will be another athlete who will be able to do what I did.”

Making 11 successful title defenses is something that is almost unheard of in mixed martial arts. Many fighters would hang up their gloves after losing their belt at 42 years old, but Fernandes continues to compete for the love of the sport.

Make sure to tune in to ONE on Prime Video 4 on November 18 as Bibiano Fernandes looks to halt rising contender Stephen Loman's at Singapore Indoor Stadium.
