'The Korean Zombie' vs. Giga Chikadze could be the headliner for UFC Seoul, which will take place in February 2023.

There are also rumors this could be Chan-sung Jung's final MMA fight. Jung suffered a brutal TKO-loss against featherweight champion Alexander Volkanovski in his last outing, which took place at UFC 273.

A final showing in front of home fans could be exactly the type of send-off the UFC have planned for The Korean Zombie.

Chikadze will hope to bounce back from his defeat to Calvin Kattar at UFC Vegas 46, if the Georgian faces Jung early next year. 'Ninja' entered the octagon with a nine-fight win streak against Kattar, who dominated the Georgian for five rounds.

The UFC is yet to announce the fight, but it is reportedly in the works for February 2023.

The MMA news account @The_MMA_Media posted the following on Twitter:

"Giga Chikadze vs. The Korean Zombie is in the works for the main event of #UFCSeoul on February 4th."

'The Korean Zombie' could be looking to close his career out in style with a win over Giga Chikadze. However, the Georgian still has title aspirations, and a strong performance against Chan-sung Jung could see him enter the top five of the division.

Giga Chikadze on Beneil Dariush being the only candidate for the next title shot

Ahead of UFC 280, Giga Chikadze stated that Beneil Dariush should face Islam Makhachev for the lightweight title next.

'Ninja' identified that Dariush had previously been matched up with both Islam Makhachev and Charles Oliveira, and that the fights didn't materialize. Given this, Chikadze felt that it was only natural for Dariush to be next in line.

'Ninja' posted the following on Twitter:

"JFI @beneildariush had scheduled fights with @charlesdobronxs and @makhachevmma and both got canceled. I dont think there is any question about who's next lightweight title contender after Benny wins Saturday's fight! Let's go brother"

Check out the tweet below:

Current featherweight champion Alexander Volkanovski is likely to face Islam Makhachev next. 'The Great' has dreamt of becoming a UFC two-division champion, and the UFC will most likely grant the Australian the opportunity to realize his dream.

Dariush put on an incredible performance against rising star Mateusz Gamrot at UFC 280, which surprised many fans and pundits. But he will need one more victory against a top lightweight contender to be next in line for the title.
