Michael Bisping shares date for UFC’s return to London following recent success of UFC 286 at the O2 Arena

Michael Bisping recently shed light on the possibility of the the promotion returning to London after the success of UFC 286.

Bisping is eager to see Paddy Pimblett in action again. In a recently released video to his YouTube channel, 'The Count' discussed 'The Baddy's injury and said he wanted to see the Liverpudlian compete at the next event in London, which is expected to take place in July.

But, Bisping added that the scenario might be unlikely due to Pimblett's injury.

"I haven't heard of any matchups simply because Paddy is injured. He can’t fight anyone right now because he is injured. He’s had surgery. It’s going to be a few months. UFC London July 22nd, I would like to see him on that but there's no chance. We’re in March, April, May, June, July. It’s four months away. It’s going to be a while before he’s back to full speed.”

Paddy Pimblett was last seen in action at UFC 282 when he took on Jared Gordon in the co-main event and defeated him via unanimous decision.

How did things turn out at UFC 286?

UFC 286 took place at the O2 Arena in London, England on March 18. The card was headlined by a trilogy fight between current welterweight king Leon Edwards and Kamaru Usman. 'Rocky' was getting the better of Usman for the majority of the fight but an illegal fence-grab in the third round resulted in a point deduction for the Birmingham fighter.

The fight lasted the entire 25 minutes and Edwards took home the victory via majority decision with 48-46, 48-46 and 47-47 on the three judges' scorecards.

In the co-main event, Justin Gaethje and Rafael Fiziev delivered a thrilling back-and-forth affair. In the end, 'The Highlight' got his hand raised by majority decision as the three judges scored the bout 29-28, 29-28 and 28-28.

Gunnar Nelsonn, Jennifer Maia and Marvin Vettori also scored victories on the main card that night. In the prelims for the event, Jack Shore, Jai Herbert, Veronica Hardy, Joanne Wood, Lerone Murphy and Muhammad Mokaev were among the fighters who got their hands raised.
