Brendan Schaub has picked KSI to emerge victorious in his upcoming fight against Dillon Danis inside the boxing ring.

After several months of back-and-forth exchanges on Twitter, which culminated with a scrimmage at a Misfits Boxing weigh-in, a date has finally been set for the pair to take matters inside a regulated construct. On January 14, YouTube star-turned-boxer KSI will return to the ring to face undefeated MMA fighter Dillon Danis.

The fight was announced during last week's Misfits Boxing 3 broadcast. Danis was immediately invited on stage to join KSI after he furiously called out the Bellator welterweight contender.

Weighing in on the matchup on a recent episode of Thiccc Boy, Brendan Schaub stated that he's unsure about Danis' striking abilities:

"Dillon's not exactly known for his striking. Obviously if it was a jiu-jitsu competition, [he would have] submitted him in three seconds. But it's not."

Schaub's co-host picked KSI to emerge as the victor owing to the performance he put on against Logan Paul on 25 August 2018 at the AO Arena:

"KSI did really well with Logan Paul. So I think he's going to definitely win. Logan lasted pretty well with Mayweather in whatever that was, but he actually lasted. I'm pretty sure KSI is going to win."

KSI vs. Dillon Danis preview

KSI and Dillon Danis will square off on January 14 at the OVO Arena Wembley in London. The event will air live on DAZN pay-per-view.

KSI defeated Brandon Scott and Luis Alcaraz Pineda on the same night in exhibition matches at MF & DAZN: X Series 001 on August 2022. In his first professional boxing match, which took place in November 2019 against Logan Paul, KSI won via split decision.

Dillon Danis, on the other hand, will be making his in-ring debut against the English rapper. The jiu-jitsu ace rose to fame when he helped Conor McGregor prepare for his rematch against rival Nate Diaz at UFC 202. Danis competes in MMA under the Bellator banner where he is 2-0 as a professional mixed martial artist. The American will compete in combat sports again after a 43-month long hiatus.
