Tom Cruise: Chael Sonnen questions Tom Cruise’s decision-making in death-defying stunt

Chael Sonnen has never been one to shy away from speaking his mind. This, in turn, has led to some of the most hilarious and quotable moments in mixed martial arts history. 'The American Gangster' does not refrain from commenting about individuals outside of the combat sports world either, as he recently took aim at world-famous actor Tom Cruise.

Cruise, the lead actor in the 'Mission: Impossible' movie franchise, is known for performing many of his own stunts. Those stunts sometimes include death-defying maneuvers.

This decision has stumped Sonnen, who could not work out why Cruise would place himself in danger for the sake of a scene. The former UFC fighter came across a thread on X of Cruise's most dangerous stunts, and the Oregon native said this:

"He almost died spending millions on a shot [GROK] could create for free right now."

Chael Sonnen savagely quips back at Jon Jones

Jon Jones and Chael Sonnen competed for the light heavyweight title at UFC 159, with 'Bones' securing victory via TKO in Round 1. However, after the fight, it was revealed that Jones had suffered a badly broken toe. Had the fight reached the end of Round 1, it would have likely been stopped by the doctor due to the severity of the damage.

It has been many years since their fight, and 'Bones' now operates as the UFC heavyweight champion. However, his unwillingness to fight interim heavyweight champion Tom Aspinall has left Jones being criticized by much of the MMA fanbase.

Recently, the interim heavyweight champion appeared on Sonnen and Daniel Cormier's podcast, Good Guy/Bad Guy. The Manchester native discussed Jones' apparent lack of desire to fight him and claimed that the two-division champion had retired from the sport.

'Bones' came across the interview online and took to X to slam both Sonnen and Cormier, whom he has faced and defeated. He wrote this:

"Jon Jones whooped both of y'all, but hey -- why not team up on a podcast and gossip about his life? Meanwhile, he's out here making your annual salary in a week. Stay busy, boys."
