There’s no doubt ONE Championship is on an unprecedented path of success right now, fueled by its recent United States on-ground debut in Denver, Colorado, and by the massive spectacle that is ONE Friday Fights at the iconic Lumpinee Boxing Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand.

Speaking at the recent post-event press conference at ONE Fight Night 10: Johnson vs. Moraes III on Prime Video a few weeks ago, ONE Championship chairman and CEO Chatri Sityodtong hinted at the possibility of bringing the wildly successful ONE Friday Fights to the United States.

Sityodtong said:

“There’s a clear rabid fan base, in our brand, in our product, and the whole of martial arts, it’s really resonating with American fans and it’s something totally new, totally different from anything existing in the market, it’s completely unique anywhere in the world.”

Indeed, the ONE Championship head honcho was pleasantly surprised with how American fans received promotion and its fighters in its historic first-ever event on U.S. soil.

Fans cheered on fighters such as ONE flyweight Muay Thai world champion Rodtang Jitmuangnon, former two-sport ONE world champion Stamp Fairtex, and Burmese icon Aung La N Sang from inside the sold-out 1stBank Center.

ONE Friday Fights is held every Friday night on Asia primetime, from Lumpinee Boxing Stadium, and features a mix of MMA, Muay Thai, kickboxing, and even submission grappling. The goal is to have an event every Friday night that fans can partake in.

For Sityodtong, that is simply a recipe for success and he sees massive potential in possibly creating the U.S.’ own version of ONE Friday Fights.

He added:

“I think there’s a huge opportunity here.”

Meanwhile, fans can catch all the action of ONE Fight Night 10: Johnson vs. Moraes III on Prime Video, absolutely free via replay on Amazon Prime.
