In a recent Instagram post, Christian Lee shared a photo with a “room full of killers” who are helping to prepare him for his welterweight world title fight.

Pictured alongside the likes of Bruno Pucci, Richie Lewis, Blake Perry and Maki Pitolo, Lee is just one month away from his bid to become a two-division world champion in ONE.

At just 24 years old, Christian Lee will set the record for being the youngest double champion in MMA history if he is successful on November 18. Moving up a division, he will face welterweight world champion Kiamrian Abbasov, who will be returning to his weight class after his own quest for two-division glory when he faced Reinier de Ridder earlier this year.

Christian Lee’s match will be one of the featured bouts of ONE on Prime Video 4, which will be live from the Singapore Indoor Stadium on November 18. The card also features a clash for the ONE flyweight Muay Thai world championship between reigning king Rodtang Jitmuangnon and strawweight titleholder Joseph Lasiri.

Christian Lee credits superior focus for his recent success

After losing his lightweight world title in 2021 after winning six fights in a row, Christian Lee has been able to return from that loss even stronger than before.

At ONE 160 in August, nearly a year after losing the title, Lee reaffirmed his place as the best lightweight in ONE Championship today by avenging his controversial loss in dominant fashion.

Fresh off a second-round knockout win over Ok Rae Yoon in August, Christian Lee now finds himself on the cusp of becoming the youngest-ever two-division world champion when he faces Kiamrian Abbasov for the ONE welterweight world title at ONE on Prime Video 4.

While recently speaking about his rematch with Yoon, Lee put part of his success down to being able to block out external pressures. In an interview with ONE Championship, he said:

“It was great. For me, I don't really care too much for social media anyways. I just spent all the time focused on training. The rest of my time is spent with my family. I have more than enough. I have my hands full with running after my one-year-old baby girl, just spending the time at home with my wife and my daughter, then going into the gym and training. I'm really just focused, blocking out all distractions, and only having my focus on the task at hand.”

Now just one month away from the opportunity to etch his name in the history books by becoming the latest two-division world champion in ONE Championship, this added focus could prove to be the difference come November 18.
