Conor McGregor recently trolled Petr Yan after the Russian labeled Sean O'Malley a "wannabe" version of 'Notorious'. The Irishman hilariously took a dig at Yan's height, comparing him to the social media sensation 'Hasbulla'.

Posting a picture of 'No Mercy', McGregor wrote on Twitter:

"Congrats Hasbulla on signing with the ufc"

Hasbulla Magomedov recently confirmed signing a deal with the UFC, even claiming that'll he'll fight in the promotion. However, that is not very likely considering he is 3ft4 inches in height and weighs roughly 40 lbs.

Due to reasons unknown, McGregor has been embroiled in an online feud with the Dagestani teenager that seems pretty authentic.

Yan called O'Malley a "Conor McGregor wannabe" during the UFC 280 media day scrum. According to 'No Mercy', the UFC may be setting up this fight as a big stepping stone for O'Malley in the same manner they set up McGregor's fight against Aldo.

However, the Russian guarantees that 'Sugar' won't find the success that McGregor did. Yan said during the pre-fight presser:

"Considering the other side of things, you can definitely compare it to Conor-Aldo fight. Sean is a UFC project and a Conor wannabe, but the result of this match-up will be different."

Yan's comments came in response to Dana White comparing his upcoming fight with O'Malley to McGregor's iconic UFC 194 clash against Jose Aldo.

Sean O'Malley responds to Petr Yan comparing him to Conor McGregor

Sean O'Malley is undoubtedly one of the biggest draws on the UFC roster today. Well aware of his drawpower, 'Sugar' believes he will inch closer to Conor McGregor's level of stardom if he can put on an impressive showing against Petr Yan at UFC 280.

O'Malley was asked to weigh in on Yan calling him a "Conor McGregor wannabe" during the UFC 280 pre-fight presser. According to 'Sugar', some of the Irishman's recent actions might not be very inspiring. However, the bantamweight superstar admitted that the Irishman's overall career is certainly worth being a benchmark for him:

"I mean, maybe some of the stuff he's done recently, not wannabe. But his career, yes he's had a pretty sweet career. So, yeah I think it's someone not too bad to look [up to]. [Laughs] I'm gonna smash Petr. How about that? Is that a better answer?"
