It's safe to say that Conor McGregor is one of the most successful fighter-turned-businessmen outside of the octagon. While all of his businesses have been successful, Proper No. Twelve Irish whisky stands out as the biggest and most lucrative.

McGregor launched Proper No. Twelve Irish whisky in Ireland and the United States in September 2018. During that time, McGregor aggressively promoted his brand, infamously offering a drink to his rival Khabib Nurmagomedov, a devout Muslim.

According to research from Impact Data in 2022, Conor McGregor's Proper No. Twelve Irish Whiskey was well on its way to becoming the number two Irish whisky brand in the United States, behind Jameson.

Although he sold a controlling ownership in Proper No. Twelve to Proximo Spirits for a rumored US$600 million with business partners Audi Attar and Ken Austin, the Crumlin-born fighter is still highly involved in promoting the Irish whisky.

The company's flagship product, Triple Distilled Irish Whiskey, is a mixture of grain and malt spirits that has aged in Bourbon barrels to accentuate its fruity flavors. Apparently, McGregor and Elder sampled nearly a hundred variations in this blend before settling on this one. Flavors of vanilla, light malt, controlled wood, honey, apples, pears, caramel, cut grass, pressed flowers, peppery spice, and a hint of lime can all be found in Proper No. Twelve - a mild and sweet Irish whiskey.

Conor McGregor recently channeled his inner Steve Jobs to unveil Proper Irish Apple, their first innovation outside of the flagship product. According to 'The Notorious', the new product is a delightful blend of Proper No. Twelve Irish whiskey and a natural apple taste that is as smooth as liquid gold and has a crisp, fresh Irish apple finish.

Beyond this, McGregor is eager to try out different ages for the whisky, which is now only available in the four-year-aged version. He plans to try out a variety of barrels to see how the alcohol develops its distinctive flavors.

Conor McGregor sets massive pay-per-view target for UFC return

Conor McGregor is expected to return to the octagon later this year to face Michael Chandler after an absence of over two years. The pair served as rival coaches on the upcoming season of The Ultimate Fighter, and McGregor predicts astronomical pay-per-view numbers for the potential clash.

'The Notorious' recently posted images of his first faceoff with Chandler. McGregor then retweeted it with what appeared to be a pay-per-view target for the bout. He wrote:

"Millions and millions and millions of ppy buys."
