Not long ago, Conor McGregor and Maxwell Jacob Friedman (MJF) exchanged barbs on Twitter, and the newly crowned AEW champion seems to have taken another shot at 'The Notorious.'

MJF turned up at the recent AEW Dynamite event, sporting a pinstripe suit that had "Better Than You" vertically stitched along the strips. It was most likely a reference to the iconic "F**k You" suit McGregor wore ahead of his boxing match against Floyd Mayweather in 2017.

Paddy Pimblett and MJF recently had a heated exchange on social media, with the Irishman challenging the AEW champion to an MMA fight. Over the course of this back-and-forth, MJF called Pimblett "a dollar store Conor McGregor." Not one to hold back his words, McGregor responded with his own tweet, calling MJF a "clown."

"A dollar store Conor is still worth millions! Let’s go young Paddy Pimb! Don’t know who this other clown is."

Refusing to back off, MJF clapped back at the Irish superstar. He tweeted:

"I’ll f*** the Conor clone up. Then I’ll wipe my a** with the original. Stay in your lane you roided up leprechaun. You can’t hang with the @AEW World Champion."

Paddy Pimblett expresses interest in fighting Conor McGregor

Paddy Pimblett believes that a fight against Conor McGregor is definitely not off the table and the Liverpudlian claims it would be the biggest pay-per-view the UFC has ever seen.

In a recent interview with Marc Raimondi on ESPN MMA, Pimblett was asked if he would be interested in a bout with McGregor at some point. The 27-year-old replied stating:

"It would be the biggest pay-per-view that the UFC has ever seen like put it that way, goes without saying. But I think when Conor comes back, he'll be fighting at 170(lbs). He'll struggle to make 155(lbs) now to be honest... Get that paper, you know that...no brainer you know what I mean, anybody that say no to fight Conor is an idiot, simple as that."

'The Baddy' further continued to praise Conor McGregor and his contributions towards popularizing the sport:

"But I respect Conor you know what I mean. What he's done for this sport, he's done a lot more than most of the people that've done this sport and I think he gets a bad rep like he doesn't get the respect that he deserves..."

While the fight against 'The Notorious' is certainly appealing, Pimblett is currently focused on Jared Gordon, who he fights in the co-main event at UFC 282 on December 10.
