Dana White weighed in on the ongoing misunderstanding between Conor McGregor and USADA.

During media availability following the UFC 286 faceoffs, White addressed 'The Nortorious' comments regarding an exemption to the anti-doping agency's six-month re-entry policy. He mentioned that he doesn't devote his attention to drug testing anymore.

He said:

"I have no idea [USADA exemption for Conor McGregor], I don't pay any attention to that sh*t." [13:08 - 13:11]

The former two-division champion recently mentioned that if he has two clean tests, he'll be fine, but USADA responded with a statement that said otherwise. The UFC president added that the drug-testing aspect is not his concern and he is happy to not be involved with those misunderstandings and issues anymore, saying:

"That's not my job anymore, man, and I'm happy to be out of it. Talk to USADA. I have no idea. I want nothing to do with the whole drug testing side of this business, fu****g nightmare." [13:12 - 13:21]

It remains to be seen whether USADA will grant McGregor some sort of exemption from the six-month period should he meet their demands because of the attention his fights generate for the UFC.

Dana White addresses whether Colby Covington will receive the next welterweight title shot

Dana White addressed the thought process behind Colby Covington being the replacement fighter should one of the fighters in the main event be forced to pull out of the card.

During the aforementioned media availability, the UFC president was asked whether Covington serving as the replacement could be an indicator that he will challenge the winner of the Leon Edwards vs. Kamaru Usman welterweight title fight. 'Chaos' is coming off a unanimous decision win over Jorge Masvidal last March and has remained a top-ranked welterweight contender.

He said:

"That I don't know [Covington receiving the next title shot]. Obviously, he stepped up to this and did this thing and he's obviously one of the best in the world, but yeah, he's right there." [2:49 - 2:57]

Now that Edwards and Usman have both officially made weight for the main event, perhaps the promotion will announce 'Chaos' next bout while he's in the arena.
