Dana White's mother described him as a "egotistical, self-centered, arrogant" vindictive tyrant in biography

Dana White's mother June White published an unauthorized biography of her son, titled Dana White, King of MMA, in 2011, the same year that the UFC acquired Strikeforce. While White was scaling steeper slopes of success, his mother's book made some shocking revelations about the UFC boss.

According to White's mother, her son changed drastically along with the evolution of the UFC from a near-bankrupt brand to the largest fight promotion in the world. June White accused her son of turning into a 'vindictive tyrant' from the genuinely caring person he once used to be.

White's mother wrote:

“It is difficult for me to see how, as the popularity of the UFC evolved, the person I once knew changed into someone who is egotistical, self-centered, arrogant, and cruel. Dana went from being a true friend, a good son, and a truly nice person to being a vindictive tyrant who lacks any feelings for how he treats others.” h/t fcfighter.com

Dana White portrayed himself as the personification of a self-made man who battled several difficulties in his childhood to reach where he is today. According to June White, the image of her son struggling around as a kid in the streets of Connecticut was an absolute myth.

Dana White's mother accuses the UFC president of neglecting his grandmother

In one story, June White accused her son of neglecting his then 93-year-old grandmother.

According to White's mother, the UFC boss did not provide any monetary assistance to his grandmother, who had been living in a trailer park for forty years. June White wrote:

"His grandmother who lived with us in Las Vegas, drove him to school and fixed dinner for him is now 93 years old and lives in a trailer in Florida. She lives on her meager monthly retirement check, and has lived in a trailer for the last forty years of her life.
