Daniel Cormier recently left Justin Gaethje after jumping on a viral social media trend that resulted in a wholesome conversation between the two friends. Gaethje was caught off guard as he wasn't sure what the reference was, which made for a hilarious exchange.

A viral trend on social media platforms like TikTok is encouraging men to call their friends and wish them a great day or night, and also check in on them. Although it appears to be a prank, it has resulted in several hilarious reactions on social media.

Red Corner MMA posted a clip from the official UFC 316 Weigh-In Show, which showed Cormier making a FaceTime call to Gaethje and expressing his feelings and well wishes after 'The Highlight' answered. 'DC' said:

"Hey, I was just calling to tell you I care about you and I'm glad that your mental health's great, everything going well. Good morning, have a very good morning... I can't just call you and wish you a good morning?... So as a friend, I just called and say, 'Hey, good morning, Justin'... Alright, bye, Justin, I'm going to work, man."

Gaethje was baffled and shared his hilarious reaction to Cormier's greeting:

"What kind of bullsh*t is this?... No, [you can't call me and wish me good morning]. That's not how my friends show me love."

Daniel Cormier shares hilarious interaction with Kayla Harrison ahead of UFC 316

Daniel Cormier also shared a hilarious interaction with Kayla Harrison. Cormier posted a clip to his X account promoting his latest interview with Harrison ahead of her women's bantamweight title fight against Julianna Pena, where the former PFL star disclosed an ongoing wager she had with Henry Cejudo.

Cormier expressed his joy after Harrison recalled the wager, which included Khabib Nurmagomedov naming him the greatest combat athlete of all time when asked him to pick between Cejudo and 'DC.' He said:

"That's my boy, [Khabib] right there. That's my boy right there. You see what I'm saying?"
