Rising ONE superstar Danielle Kelly believes that Mikey Musumeci's recent destruction of Gantumur Bayanduuren's leg is proof that jiu-jitsu is effective if you don't tap.Like the rest of the fans, the grappling sensation watched Bayanduuren refuse to tap in his match with Musumeci at ONE Fight Night 6 on Prime Video. Unfortunately, his toughness came at a cost as he tore several ligaments in his leg and broke his ankle.Danielle Kelly thinks it's a prime example of how devastating jiu-jitsu can be without the use of tapping. She told The MMA Superfan:"It’s not really a favorite, it is a favorite, but it also sucks for the guy. Mikey was just attacking his legs and the guy just refused to tap. So, pretty much Mikey was showing how jiu-jitsu does work if you don’t tap."Nobody likes to see a fighter get injured. Even Mikey Musumeci said he felt nauseous after the match, which saw Bayanduuren leave the circle injured.Check out Danielle Kelly's full conversation with The MMA Superfan below:Danielle Kelly reflects on her successful 2022 in ONEThe Silver Fox BJJ affiliate had a solid 2022, scoring a submission victory over Mariia Molchanova, as well as grappling to a majority draw with Mei Yamaguchi. The 27-year-old was happy with how her first year under ONE's banner went, but she has a world title in her crosshairs. She said in an interview with the promotion:“It was probably the best year for jiu-jitsu and being a jiu-jitsu athlete.
