Welterweight mainstays Stephen Thompson and Kevin Holland put on an instant classic in the main-event at UFC Orlando. After a seemingly equal start, 'Wonderboy' outstruck Holland as the fight progressed, earning a TKO win at the end of the fourth round.

Meanwhile, 'Trailblazer' displayed an incredible chin in managing to take the fight till the fourth round despite the beating he took.

The MMA community unanimously applauded the fight, sharing their reactions on Twitter. Conor McGregor's former training partner Dillon Danis compared Stephen Thompson to the fictional Karateka, Mr. Miyagi, from the movie The Karate Kid.

However, 'El Jefe' did not have any kind words to spare for Holland. In another tweet, Danis wrote:

"Kevin Holland sucks and is a bitch don’t ever speak my name again."

UFC heavyweight champion Francis Ngannou commended Holland's chin.

Giving due credit to Thompson's striking acumen and Holland's chin, lightweight veteran Al Iaquinta wrote:

"What an awesome fight. Wonderboy clinic of martial arts Holland clinic on toughness"

Belal Muhammad, who handed Stephen Thomson his previous loss, noted that it is wise to grapple against the karate wizard. 'Remember the Name' wrote:

"And that’s why i wrestle"

UFC middleweight contender Derek Brunson likened 'Wonderboy' to legendary MMA Karatekas Lyoto Machida and Raymond Daniels. Brunson wrote:

"Wonderboy , Machida & Raymond Daniels make karate look good in mma"

On a lighter note, Brunson joked that Holland might consider retiring after his loss, referring to 'Trailblazer's' previous retirement announcement following his loss to Khamzat Chimaev at UFC 279.

"😂😂😂 yeah holland retiring again . He out here playing"

Stephen Thompson believes Leon Edwards has to find "some other way" to beat Kamaru Usman in a rematch

Leon Edwards stunned the MMA world with a stunning fifth-round head-kick KO win over Kamaru Usman at UFC 278. The two are now likely to meet in a rematch in front of the champions' home fans in England next year.

Stephen Thompson recently weighed in on a potential trilogy fight between Usman and Edwards. While 'Wonderboy' favors Usman, he is also aware of Edwards' fight-ending ability.

However, the welterweight contender believes that 'Rocky' will have to find a different way to finish Usman in the trilogy clash. Stephen Thompson told timesnownews.com:

"On paper, I will still have Usman because he was winning in the last fight but until he lost it but not saying Edwards cannot do it again he has to do it some other way this time to win."
