It's all systems go for Tawanchai PK Saenchai.

The reigning ONE featherweight Muay Thai world champion said he's all set to defend his throne against newfound rival Jo Nattawut at ONE 167.

The two Thai superstars will run it back for a second time on June 7 at Impact Arena after their first meeting in October 2023 left much to be desired.

In an interview with Sportskeeda MMA, the young superstar said his training camp has been as smooth as possible and that he hasn't had any hitches so far.

Tawanchai said:

"I don't see any obstacles at all, everything flows with no problem."

The 25-year-old spends the entirety of his Muay Thai preparation at his home gym - PK Saenchai in Bangkok, and does his bodywork at ONTRACK GYM, which is just a four minute bike ride away from his home gym.

Tawanchai's world title defense against Nattawut is a sequel to their epic kickboxing matchup at ONE Fight Night 15 in 2023.

Nattawut wasn't supposed to be Tawanchai's opponent in the card, but he stepped in on short notice after Superbon pulled out of the match due to injury.

Despite the change, Tawanchai beat Nattawut via unanimous decision in an absolute barnburner that fans clamored for a proper rematch.

That redux will finally go down at ONE 167 and the entire card is available live and free to all Prime Video subscribers in the United States and Canada.

Tawanchai looks to face Luke Lessei's American style of Muay Thai

While Tawanchai has his sights on defending his throne against Jo Nattawut, there is one more person he is keen on facing in the future.

American star Luke Lessei burst into the scenes when he stood toe-to-toe with Nattawut in his ONE Championship debut at ONE Fight Night 17 in December 2023.

Although he lost in his promotional debut, Lessei became an instant star and he rode that wave when he scored a split decision win over Eddie Abasolo at ONE Fight Night 19.

In an interview with Sportskeeda, Tawanchai said he's interested in facing Lessei and seeing what 'The Chef's' American style of Muay Thai is like. He said:

"All I can say is I’m looking forward to fighting anyone. If I have to face Luke Lessi one day, he’ll need to have his American style of Muay Thai ready.”
