Rodtang says result against Jiduo Yibu would've been different under Muay Thai rules

There was absolutely zero doubt about who won the fight between Rodtang and Yibu. However, the champ wasn't satisfied with earning a decision victory, as he always yearns for a finish.

After the win, 'The Iron Man' told in-circle interviewer Mitch Chilson that things would've played out differently had it been a Muay Thai contest. He stated:

“Of course I had to change my style, this is kickboxing, this is not Muay Thai. I always have to be ready to change. If I came for the Muay Thai it wouldn’t be the result that you saw. I will try to get the kickboxing belt next."

The flyweight kickboxing division also has a new king following the results of ONE Fight Night 6. His name is Superlek Kiatmoo9, who secured the vacant belt with a unanimous decision win over Daniel Puertas.

Rodtang, meanwhile, is the No.1-ranked contender in the division and clearly has his eyes set on becoming a two-sport champion.

Make sure to check back with Sportskeeda for an announcement regarding Rodtang's next match, as he claims he'll attempt to acquire the flyweight kickboxing world title.
