FREE FULL FIGHT: Underdog Alexis Nicolas dethrones Regian Eersel in epic five-round firefight

ONE Fight Night 21 featured one of the biggest upsets of the year when Regian Eersel and Alexis Nicolas met in the main event.

As a two-sport world champion in the lightweight division, Eersel had been on a dominant run for some time.

Nicolas, on the other hand, was a new arrival on the roster who had the odds stacked against him in this fight.

This ended up playing into the Frenchman's hands after he shocked the world by dethroning the lightweight kickboxing champion back in April.

Despite Eersel working his way back into the fight late on where he tends to thrive, 'The Immortal' was dropped in the second round which put him in a fight against the clock to try and turn the tide.

When the fight came to an end, he emerged victorious, maintaining his undefeated record and snapping the incredible 22-fight winning streak of Eersel.

Regian Eersel will look to correct the mistakes he made against Alexis Nicolas

The stage is now set for ONE Fight Night 25 on Oct. 4 where Regian Eersel will look to win his belt back from Alexis Nicolas.

In their first fight, he made adjustments as the fight went on as elite strikers often tend to do.

Unfortunately, Nicolas did the same and after a strong start, he was able to ride the momentum of the fight to the final bell.

The big question for Eersel is whether he can make the correct adjustments to come out on top this time around.

If Nicolas is able to defeat the former champ in back-to-back fights, he's going to be a serious threat to anyone in the world.
