Gervonta Davis feels that his next opponent is putting on an act ahead of their clash.

Gervonta Davis vs. Ryan Garcia is set to go down on April 22nd in Las Vegas. The bout is expected to be one of the biggest in years, as both men are considered at the peak of their powers. Furthermore, there's a lot of heat going into the matchup as well.

The two men have been rivals for years, despite never stepping foot in the ring to this point. They regularly go back and forth in the media, which has escalated since the announcement of theirfight.

For his part, Gervonta Davis feels that Ryan Garcia is putting on an act in the build-up to their April showdown. By that, the WBA (Regular) lightweight champion means that his next opponent isn't all he's hyped up to be.

In their press conference earlier this month, Davis stated his plans to end Garcia and collect another knockout for his highlight reel. He stated:

“I’ve put a lot of guys to sleep and Ryan is next … Didn’t Ryan get caught [and knocked down] by Luke Campbell? Do I hit way harder than Luke Campbell? Yes or no? … He’s putting on a front for the people. That’s what I see. I see a guy who’s an act. That’s what it is."

Gervonta Davis vs. Ryan Garcia: 'KingRy' makes prediction

No matter who wins, it seems Gervonta Davis vs. Ryan Garcia will end in a finish.

In a recent interview with Joe Popliano, 'KingRy' made his own prediction for the matchup with 'Tank'. While the two men might hate each other, they seemingly have the same mindset.

That mindset includes coming to get a knockout win on April 22nd. In the interview, Garcia stated his plans to become the first to defeat Davis. Not only that, he wants to be the first fighter to crack the WBA (Regular) lightweight champion's chin.

In fact, Ryan Garcia believes that he will end up with a finish win over Gervonta Davis in under two rounds. In the interview, he stated:

“Prediction for the fight. I say I’ll beat him in about two rounds. Part of me knows that I am just better than him. What I’ve seen from him. What I know about myself, what I know they are underestimating.”
