"He can be a shining example" - Lito Adiwang says Christian Lee can inspire people with a big win at ONE Fight Night 26

Lito Adiwang believes that Christian Lee can be a shining light upon his return at ONE Fight Night 26.

It has been over two years since we last saw the two-division MMA world champion in action and a lot has changed since then.

Shortly after his welterweight title win in an instant classic, Christian Lee and his family suffered a significant loss when his younger sister Victoria passed away.

It's been an incredibly difficult time for the Lee family, but they have come through it stronger than ever, with Angela retiring from MMA and Adrian making his pro debut.

Now, it's Christian's time to kick-start his next chapter when he defends the lightweight crown against Alibeg Rasulov on December 6.

In a recent exclusive interview with Sportskeeda MMA, Adiwang spoke about the strength and character Lee has shown and how that can inspire others in his return:

"I just wish him well and I hope that he will use it as motivation. It will be a good story if he can overcome this tragedy so that he can be a shining example for others who face similar situations. By showing no matter how bad the experience he had to go through, if you put your heart and mind to it, you can overcome it. It will be a good comeback story for Christian Lee if he wins."
